I've been using this for a decade now. It's better than any other oil out there. It's neither too heavy nor too light. There's nothing particularly bad about it. I have combination skin, so I usually prefer lightweight skincare products. However, sometimes my skin feels tight, so I apply face oil. I searched hard to find this product, and I'm happy to say that not only are the ingredients good, but it also works really well for me. You might find the scent a bit off-putting. After replenishing moisture with toner, using just two drops of this oil will leave dry skin feeling moisturized. The quantity is large compared to the small daily usage amount, so if you don't use it diligently, it will sit for a long time. Especially since it's an oil, it can develop an unpleasant smell over time. Although it contains oil, the formula is not overly greasy or sticky. Julique... I thought their products were really good in terms of ingredients, and I've been using them all this time. This is shocking. I didn't know their ingredients were like this.

Since my skin is extremely dry, even moisturizing creams were not enough, so this was the first oil I started using. Just a few drops could thoroughly moisturize my skin - there was no stickiness at all. Depending on the skin condition, some may feel it doesn't absorb well or seep in, but for me, it absorbed smoothly and left my skin feeling hydrated. It also has good spreadability, where just a drop or two can cover the entire face. The Caudalie Skin Balancing Oil also has a pleasant fragrance that I really enjoyed! When I get pimples or blemishes, they don't go away easily, so I'm especially careful when using skincare products. I did mix this oil into my moisturizer and foundation, but it didn't seem to cause any skin troubles. The downside is that while it's good for light daily use, I didn't see significant improvement effects. For my severely dry skin, it couldn't maintain a thoroughly hydrated complexion. The lasting effect is around half a day. For those with extremely dry skin like mine, I'd recommend mixing a drop or two of this oil into your moisturizer, foundation or BB cream. Since dry skin can cause makeup to look patchy, this oil can help prevent that by providing much-needed hydration.
