Personally, I absolutely adored the refreshing scent. It applies smoothly and has a gentle texture, so I felt confident putting it on my face. After using a point remover for eye and lip makeup, this cleanser effectively removes any remaining traces. Even when it got into my eyes, I didn't experience any stinging or irritation. There's not really anything to complain about, though it's been discontinued. I've heard it's still available online, so if you can find it at a good price, it might be worth trying. For best results, gently massage it in circular motions after using a point remover. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 22, 2016
Well... since I got it for free, there was no price burden. I usually cleanse once with cleansing oil or cream, then follow up with a cleansing foam. But this is the first time I've experienced a cream that feels slippery even after double cleansing with foam. No matter how thoroughly I wash, there's an unpleasant slickness left behind. - pp*****Combination SkinFeb 26, 2016
I'm not sure if it's particularly effective at removing makeup. Other creams seem to remove makeup more easily, but I can't say the same for this one. I received this as a gift with purchase for over $20, but it seems to only have basic cleansing functions. My acne was actually clearing up, but as soon as I started using this, I had a massive acne breakout. The staff claimed it was extremely gentle, but when I checked the Hwahae app, it turns out it's absolutely terrible. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 5, 2016
It even removes mascara effectively... Even when I don't cleanse thoroughly, I rarely get acne besides small bumps. But right after using this, I developed inflamed blemishes... Also, while it removes makeup well, the cream itself feels like it doesn't wash off completely. - ri****Dry SkinAcne SkinDec 14, 2015
I received this product as a gift and I must say, it's quite pleasant. The fragrance is fresh and not off-putting, while the absorption and cleansing effectiveness are pretty good. Even when it got into my eyes, there was no irritation. It seems to be a decent, all-around product. This product seems more suitable for those with dry skin rather than oily or sensitive types. As someone with dry skin prone to occasional blemishes, it actually seemed to trigger and irritate my acne. Lo and behold, when I looked at the ingredients, it all made sense... When applying the cream, if you massage it for over 3 minutes during cleansing, you'll notice impurities rolling off your face, similar to exfoliating. It definitely gives you that satisfying clean feeling. I'm not sure about its long-term effects on the skin, though... Massaging for too long might cause irritation for some people. - do********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2015
I love how it feels like it's really cleansing as you keep massaging it in - it's like you can feel the impurities coming off! I can't think of any major downsides. It has some exfoliating properties, but they're quite gentle. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2015
To be honest, the only good thing I can say is that it feels soft on the skin. At least it's affordable, thank goodness! When I use this, I get blemishes, and the next day when I apply makeup, it starts to pill. So frustrating! - j_*****Combination SkinApr 20, 2015
It removes makeup really well... I'm not sure if it's because of this, but I developed a skin rash... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2015
Good value for money. Removes makeup well and is generally satisfactory. If you have blemishes, this product can make redness appear even if it wasn't there before. Make sure to follow up with a cleansing foam, otherwise it feels like impurities are left behind. There's nothing particularly great about it, and honestly, I can't say it feels moisturizing even though I have dry skin.
