I bought it because it was so moisturizing when applied! I bought it in a hurry and couldn't really see the color properly, but it seems to be fine! It's a water tint, but it's like a stick, so it's easy to apply. The staying power is great!! Even if you wipe it off with a tissue, the pink color remains!! It's just the right amount to apply for a lively look, and while the base is purple, it's a pretty pink when applied lightly. I don't know if it's just me, but the edges around my lips keep forming a border when I apply it... So I always have to smooth it out with my fingers. And it's drying. I always carry lip balm with me in all seasons, so I didn't feel any discomfort, but those who don't might find it uncomfortable. Since it's a water tint, it also emphasizes the flakiness. I want to apply it more heavily, but then it becomes blotchy and uneven. Lip balm seems to be a must-have.
