It applies smoothly and 'relatively' less smudging. Especially the brown color is the muted brown I want without reddish tones, so I use it a lot๐ The one I use is shade 11. The price range is also affordable, so I'm already on my third one!
ConsThe pencil is a bit soft, so while it applies well, it sometimes breaks when sharpening. It's not completely smudge-proof though.
TipFor the pencil liner, if you move your eyes a little after applying the eyeliner, it will transfer less onto the double eyelid crease๐

The longevity also seems reasonably good.
Cons1. Some people say it doesn't smudge, but for me, even with diligent powder blotting, it smears a lot. And if I apply just a little powder, it spreads incredibly quickly and easily. Moreover, the powder fallout is extremely smudged (what's the point of blotting the oiliness around the eyes when it just showers down below...). It smears so easily even when applied lightly. 2. When I bought it, I got two types - a matte brown and a black. Both are too soft(?) and tend to crumble and clump up easily when applied. 3. You have to sharpen it to use, but the problem is that it's on the softer side, so it easily becomes blunt and ends up being applied too thickly. Due to this vicious cycle of the three drawbacks mentioned above, I end up not using this product much. I really don't recommend this eyeliner...
TipYou should look for another eyeliner that doesn't smudge. ใ ใ

The colors are also natural.
ConsIt's soft, but (when you're not used to it at first) it may not draw well on the eyes even though it draws well on the back of your hand. The staying power is quite poor. Even if you redraw it several times, you have to keep redrawing it after a few hours...
TipApplying eyeshadow on top will improve the staying power!!

You should definitely try the 15th shade of Brown. First of all, there is almost no smudging. I find that most pencils I use tend to smudge, but the Makeup Forever Aqua Pencil and the Peripera Pencil are similar in that regard. On days when I sweat a lot and it's tough, it might smudge a little bit. There is a more pigmented, matte dark brown shade, but that one smudges more. The texture is completely different between the shimmery and matte versions. The matte one feels softer... Smooth application! It applies well even with just one or two strokes. The color is pretty.
ConsAs mentioned above, on really tough days in the summer, it can smudge a bit. Normally, there's no smudging, and after about 12 hours, it just fades a little bit. But the Makeup Forever and Peripera products also fade a bit in that timeframe. This product is still better than the Makeup Forever one. It's a twist-up type, but it's soft, so you have to sharpen it often and it's messy :( The price is not exactly cheap - the order from cheapest to most expensive is Peripera > Ardell > Makeup Forever.
TipThe photo shows the swatch on the back of my hand after I sprayed it with a mist and then applied a rich, oily cream (that I usually use as an eye cream) and rubbed it in for about 20 seconds. The product did not smudge or fade after that process. I've reviewed this product in detail with a video on my blog, so I'm uploading a screenshot from that. Sorry about the close-up eye photo... it's the only one I have that shows the details clearly.
