The color is similar to the container - a soft, delicate light pink. When applied to the lips, it's almost colorless. Since lips are naturally redder, it's not very noticeable. If you apply just the right amount, it gives a fresh, hydrated look as if you've just come out of water. As expected, it feels more tacky than regular lip balm when touched.
ConsAlso as expected, if you apply too much, it can look greasy. I don't see a reason to use this instead of regular lip balm. For me, it's a bit too sophisticated(?) of a product.
TipPersonally, I find it works well if you apply it and then blot twice with a tissue.
