The ultra-glossy formula leaves your lips noticeably hydrated when applied. I mainly use it before bed, and it's amazing how much it reduces dead skin cells on my lips. It's a bit tricky to wear during the day. The high-gloss finish makes it quite sticky, causing hair to stick to your lips, and it can look a bit too shiny. Despite having some color, I mostly use it at night as a lip exfoliator. - sk*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 27, 2019
I used this as a gratis item, but here's my review. The color is similar to the container - a soft, delicate light pink. When applied to the lips, it's almost colorless. Since lips are naturally redder, it's not very noticeable. If you apply just the right amount, it gives a fresh, hydrated look as if you've just come out of water. As expected, it feels more tacky than regular lip balm when touched. Also as expected, if you apply too much, it can look greasy. I don't see a reason to use this instead of regular lip balm. For me, it's a bit too sophisticated(?) of a product. Personally, I find it works well if you apply it and then blot twice with a tissue. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 17, 2018
The product is generously sized. For a lip care item, it's surprisingly large, which is great because it's harder to misplace. The color isn't particularly attractive. I'm not a fan of glossy finishes, so this wasn't for me. When you squeeze it like toothpaste to use every last bit, the opening suddenly pops out like it's been decapitated. - jo*********Normal SkinMar 22, 2017
I ended up using this product by chance, but there's nothing particularly impressive about it... Usually, I've had good experiences with Sulwhasoo products, but this one... It's too rich and glossy, making it uncomfortable to wear during the day. So I tried applying it generously at night, but the color became too intense. When I woke up in the morning, I found it absorbed more slowly compared to other lip balms and was difficult to wash off. What's more, it doesn't even provide good hydration. - ho*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2017
A few years ago, my lips were completely chapped. I had a sample, so I applied it generously at night before bed. The next morning, I saw immediate results. Since then, it's become my go-to lip care every winter. It's extremely rich. If it gets on your hands, you need to wash them thoroughly. This is why I didn't want to look at the ingredients... It has the highest number of ingredients among all the cosmetics I use. However, it's the first product where I've visibly seen the effects. After applying this, the next morning I don't even need lip gloss. I can apply lipstick without feeling any dryness on my lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2016
Compared to 'Make Up For Ever Super Lip Gloss', this has a slightly thicker consistency. When applied alone, it gives a healthy flush to the lips, making it my go-to for mornings. Since it comes in a tube, you need to be a bit careful when controlling the amount. Also, the ingredients aren't as good as those in more recently released lip products. When buying Sulwhasoo sets or other products, try asking the staff for samples of this! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 30, 2016
Purchased for $35, with a 15g volume. It's moisturizing and pigmented, giving lips a vibrant, lively look. While it doesn't cause blemishes, it feels quite sticky, which can be uncomfortable after application. Also, it's not a stick format but a squeeze-out type, which is quite inconvenient. When applied over lipstick, it enhances the lip color, making your face look more radiant and alive. - si*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 4, 2016
As someone with dry lips, this keeps them moisturized. The color payoff seems great, and it even appears to help with dead skin cells. The staying power is short, and since I got a sample size, it's tricky to control the amount - you can end up using too much if you're not careful. I layered it with Lancôme's Gloss In Love 391 that I received as a gift. Even after drinking water, while not super hydrated, the color still remained. - ki*********Combination SkinFeb 12, 2016
The case is really pretty! I love how it applies with a glossy finish, which is exactly what I prefer. However, the staying power is absolutely terrible... I mean it! My lips tend to get chapped and dry easily, and even when I apply Vaseline at home, the moisture lasts for about 30 minutes. But with this, when I apply it outside, the effect only lasts for about 10 minutes! And if you try to layer it on thickly to compensate, it becomes excessively glossy and doesn't look attractive at all. Just focus on regular lip care by exfoliating dead skin cells and applying plenty of Vaseline to keep your lips hydrated. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2016
The rich, sticky texture provides long-lasting hydration. I've tried Uriage, Rosebud Salve, Kiehl's, Burt's Bees, Bepanthen, and others, but for my lips that crack in all seasons, nothing beats this. It has a subtle tint, perfect for a quick touch-up when going out or for a natural look. It's quite sticky, but if it keeps my lips from cracking, I can tolerate the stickiness. If you don't mind the rich texture, try applying Aritaum Ginger Sugar before bed. For daytime, use this as a base and top with your favorite tint for an amazing look.
