I love how gentle and hydrating this product is. It's perfect for daily use! It's a bit on the pricey side. I wish they could lower the price a bit. Also, I've used this product several times, and there was one instance where the lid seemed defective or damaged. I actually hurt my hand because of it. Other than that, everything else is fine. - so*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsSep 25, 2024
I have fond memories of using this comfortably when I was younger, so I decided to order the entire set - toner, emulsion, and gel. However, it seems my skin type has changed with age, and I found it disappointing. While I do have deep dryness, my skin became rough after using it for a few months. The hydration evaporates quickly, leaving only a rich feeling behind. If I apply more, it becomes irritating for me. I'm not sure if it's because my skin has worsened compared to before, but this is now a toner I won't be using anymore. The night cream is decent though. It feels gentle on my skin. - lo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 5, 2024
It's a great first-step toner with just the right consistency. The application and absorption are both excellent. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and well-balanced. For those with dry skin, it might feel a bit drying after one application, so you may need to layer it two or three times. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 17, 2022
I'm in my early 30s with very dry, sensitive skin. All Rachel products work well for me, and this one is my holy grail toner. After trying Rachel's toner, I switched all my skincare to their line - cream, essence, emulsion, and cleansing foam. There's nothing bad to say. It's neither too light nor too rich - it's just perfect. - mi**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2020
As someone with super sensitive skin, I can't even think about using other products. But this toner is so hydrating and gentle that I've been using it religiously ever since it came out. It would be better if they sold it online instead of just through door-to-door sales. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2020
I love how moisturizing it is! Maybe it's because it's made with aloe, but the scent is so fresh and pleasant. I feel like if I keep using this toner, my skin will become clearer! However, since my skin is prone to blemishes, redness, and severe burning sensations, the moisturizing effect doesn't last long and my skin quickly becomes dry. I think this would be great for people who already have good skin. If you have problematic skin like mine, you might want to avoid this. When my skin was in good condition, this product worked really well for me and I used it continuously. But after my skin became irritated and damaged, it doesn't seem to suit me anymore. If your skin is very irritated, you might want to think twice about using this. - a0**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2020
The absorption and application are top-notch! I absolutely love it! I can't think of a single thing to complain about! It's just great. - ju******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2020
I have sensitive and very thin skin. My skin type is oily, but it's not excessively greasy! 1. Brightening This is the best among brightening functional cosmetics I've seen noticeable results from! I have the skin, emulsion, and cream set. After cleansing, I pat on the skin toner like a basic watery toner and keep layering it (at least 3 layers). I didn't even realize it was a brightening product, but after a month of use, I've been getting so many comments about how my skin looks brighter in photos and in person. 2. Hydration I thought it was just for hydration, not a brightening product. After layering the skin toner at least 3 times, I mix the emulsion with Avène's Cicalfate cream and apply it. Even for my oily skin, it keeps me moisturized throughout the day! 1. Packaging The packaging is really disappointing. I wish it was lighter and easier to open and close. If you drop it, you might end up with a broken toe... 2. Where to buy My mom gave me this skincare set she was using, but nobody knows where to purchase it... After cleansing, use a soothing watery toner > Pat on La Hel skin toner until you feel hydrated > Mix La Hel emulsion with Avène Cicalfate cream (add oil if skin is dry or blemish-prone) > La Hel cream (only on days when using matte foundation) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 3, 2019
The product had good spreadability and a relatively pleasant scent. The best part was the attractive design. I just applied it without knowing anything since it was a gift. But it was fine for about a week, then my face started to itch and I started getting pimples popping up all over. Even though I usually have no issues with products causing severe reactions, swelling, or itchiness, this was the only product that made me feel that kind of irritation. And since it was also quite pricey, I ended up using more of it and it just got worse, so I had to throw it away. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 21, 2018
The spreadability is good. This is the only good point. I first tried the Laheul moisturizing gel because my mom likes Laheul cosmetics. As I needed a skin toner and lotion after using this, I used the ones my mom bought from Laheul. It seems the ingredient butylphenyl methylpropional didn't agree with me. My skin became completely inflamed - my hands, face, everything turned red and itchy. I'm not usually that sensitive, but in less than 10 minutes after applying, my skin just flipped out. I thought it was just the lotion, but the toner didn't work either. When I looked into it, both the toner and lotion had butylphenyl methylpropional. Others say it's gentle and good, but you really have to check the ingredients with this one. The first photo is before it happened, but the forehead, nose, and eye area got really bad, not just what's shown in the photos. Ugh, so frustrating
