ConsIt's a bit irritating? If you don't like anything too stimulating, I wouldn't recommend it :(

If you apply it generously to your lips before bed and wash it off the next morning, the dead skin will gently peel off without any irritation. Even if you apply it and do the rest of your makeup right after washing, the larger dead skin pieces will still come off quickly, minimizing the appearance of flaky skin. Since it's a multipurpose balm, you can use it in various ways in different areas. The tin case is also so pretty that it looks great in a clear pouch.
ConsSince it's a pot-type, dust tends to stick to it easily. It's probably best to use it at home with a spatula. (For going out, the tube type would be better!) I personally like menthol, so I bought this, but those who don't like the cooling sensation should avoid it. I came to leave a review and was really surprised when I checked the ingredients... Hmm, at this price point, it might be better to use something else. I didn't have any issues, but sensitive users should definitely do a patch test first. I had to take off one star because of the ingredients.
TipI've used this in all sorts of ways, like gently massaging it into my nails and cuticles, applying it to insect bites, and even on my dry hair ends. Since it's a multipurpose balm, the possibilities are endless! And once you've used it all up, you can clean the tin case and use it as a small storage container for accessories.

I mainly use it on my lips, but occasionally apply it to my cuticles as well. This past summer, when I was getting bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, I didn't have anything else to use, so I tried it on the affected areas, and it seemed to help soothe the itchiness (though it didn't reduce the swelling). I've been using this product for several years now and am very satisfied with it.
ConsThe aspect that seems to divide opinions the most is probably the menthol scent. It has a distinctive smell to it. I didn't realize it, but it also contains some ingredients that can slightly irritate the skin.

It's a multi-balm, so it's great not only for your lips but also for insect bites and elbows.
ConsI wouldn't recommend this if you dislike the feeling of your lips burning or have an aversion to the mint scent.
