The hydration is excellent. When I apply a generous amount before bed, my skin feels moisturized and free from any tightness in the morning. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. The fragrance was lovely! When first dispensing from the container, it has a nice, rich texture. It absorbs quickly into the skin, though it might feel a bit thick and slightly oily if used alone. It would be better if it applied more smoothly. That's my only concern. I recommend layering it with a hydrating moisturizer or applying it after spritzing with a facial mist. I bought this remembering I used to like it, but I was mistaken... When applied to the skin, it feels like I'm spreading oil rather than moisturizing. There's a slight tingling sensation. And after application, it leaves a residue.

The texture is rich and moisturizing, so I'd recommend it if you enjoy that kind of feel I have allergic and super sensitive skin, and after using it once, my skin completely flared up. I think I might have had an allergic reaction to the centella extract or something similar in it, though I'm not sure exactly what caused it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with grass or flower allergies If you have sensitive skin, I'd advise against it. Love it! My husband and I use it together. Seems fine for daily use. I hope they don't discontinue it! It's a bit pricey when not on sale. I used this cream 10 years ago and it was a game-changer for my skin! Back then, it was the perfect match for me. The cream absorbs well and provides great hydration! I applied it last night and again this morning... For the first time in my life, my face felt a burning sensation, my pores expanded, and my skin became swollen. Usually, I can use any product without issues. Since nothing else in my routine has changed and this cream is the only new addition, I suspect it's the culprit. Sigh... It provides ample hydration even when applied in the morning and doesn't cause any burning sensation. There's not much to complain about... This is a product I've been using for years! It's so hydrating and keeps my blemishes at bay. The lettering on the package tends to rub off sometimes, which can be a bit messy.
