The rich, creamy lather is abundant and gentle. With menthol, it leaves a refreshing feeling after shaving. The scent might be polarizing. I prefer unscented products, but this one has a strong fragrance. There's a bit of inconvenience as foam leaks from the container opening, requiring wiping. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2021
I'm satisfied using this gel-type cleanser with a cooling effect during my face wash routine As I have sensitive skin, I experienced a stinging sensation and itchiness around my mouth area - jm****Normal SkinAcne SkinAug 13, 2020
What's good about it? Like other products, the quality is trash. Fire whoever designed that lid. How do you even come up with such terrible packaging? It's really disappointing. I let it slide with the Nivea for Men shaving foam because I couldn't be bothered, but this product doing the same thing is infuriating. It leaks everywhere. The product oozes out in all 360 degrees around the lid, and the gel is even worse than the foam. If you use it and set it down, it all spills out as shown in the photo. Even as I write this, it's been making sputtering noises and spewing out for over 5 minutes. - ks*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2020
- Great value for money. They often have buy-one-get-one-free deals, but even without promotions, it's worth using at this price point. The texture is reasonably gentle on the skin. - Perhaps due to its budget-friendly nature, the artificial menthol scent, which seems to be trying too hard to appear 'cool', is a bit disappointing. - After fully pressing the spray nozzle and releasing, some product continues to leak out. It feels wasteful and a bit of a shame. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2018
It clings to the skin better than foam, making it more effective Shaving gels tend to have less product compared to foams. Keep that in mind - ba*******Combination SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessMar 21, 2018
I bought this shaving gel because it absorbs well, and I'm really pleased with how it feels on my skin. I wish the shaving gel would produce a bit more lather. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2017
It feels a bit more fluid than the Sensitive version. As a bonus, it gives a refreshing sensation after shaving. For a Nivea product, the color and scent are surprisingly intense and potentially irritating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 30, 2015
Personally, I find that gel-type products soften facial hair more effectively than foam types. When shaving, the razor seems to glide more smoothly and adhere better to the skin. As a bonus, there's a refreshing sensation after shaving! The fragrance, oh the fragrance! While I don't expect it to be unscented, I really wish the scent was less intense. Also, as I use disposable razors, the gel formula definitely makes it harder to clean the blades thoroughly, which quickly reduces their cutting efficiency. This means I have to replace my razor blades more frequently. Even though it might be a hassle, using a separate after-shave product on the shaved areas is great for preventing blemishes. If you get any cuts or popped pimples, using a hydrocolloid patch instead of antibiotic ointment is better for shaving the next day. It keeps the affected area less prominent, making it easier to avoid while shaving.
