The adherence is great. It's best when applied thinly and evenly. I used shade 23, but I think it would look more natural if it were a bit darker. It seems to flake if your skin isn't moisturized. Since I have naturally dry skin, I noticed the application varies depending on how hydrated my skin is. Apply it thinly and evenly, but keep in mind the coverage is a bit light. It's best to use concealer on problem areas before applying this. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 6, 2016
As someone prone to redness, I was pleased that this provided good coverage and maintained a moisturized feeling for quite a while. I appreciated that it didn't make my complexion excessively white, but instead gave my skin tone a natural brightening effect. Although my skin leans slightly towards oily, after some time I noticed my T-zone feeling greasy. Occasionally, I also experienced some pilling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2016
I have overall dry skin with a slightly oily T-zone. I'm 21 now and have been using this since high school. This is my third repurchase! For adherence and coverage, I only use this foundation - no BB or CC creams needed! It's so moisturizing that it rarely lifts, except when my skin isn't in great condition. One pump is enough to cover my entire face with a puff! I've never experienced any blemishes, but it does transfer quite a bit onto clothes and glasses... Unfortunately, as the day goes on, the makeup tends to fade, so I need to touch up once a day. While it's moisturizing, I mix it with a hydrating cream in winter for extra hydration. I pump once onto my hand and use any excess on the bottle opening to neutralize my lip color. Mixing with a moisturizer increases hydration but reduces coverage, so keep that in mind. Spread it widely, dabbing on cheeks, chin, and nose, then use the remaining product on the puff to blend onto forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. One pump is plenty for the whole face. After eating or if makeup wears off on cheeks or nose, you can easily touch up with the product left on the puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 2, 2015
Holy grail for combination, sensitive skin prone to blemishes and dark spots! Any downsides like it getting drier over time? Not really! The wedge puff is fantastic! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinAug 31, 2015
When applied thinly, it spreads well and adheres nicely to the skin. It's quite moisturizing. It's a reliable product that I've been using for several bottles now. While it's not exceptional in coverage, it does seem to conceal redness to some extent. If used alone, it can make the skin too oily. Without a solid base skincare routine, there's a risk of pilling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 14, 2015
Overall, I loved everything about this product! It's quite moisturizing, so it applies smoothly, and despite that, it offers good coverage. When applied with a sponge, it goes on thinly, but if you pat it on with your fingers in areas needing more coverage, it does a pretty good job. The product has a slightly yellow undertone, which actually worked well for my redness-prone skin. Even though I wear makeup for over 12 hours daily, I experienced almost no blemishes. Due to its moisturizing nature, it can feel a bit sticky. Finishing with powder or foundation helps, though. Apart from that, everything else is great. I've always used this product positively, but when I heard the new version was reformulated for better adherence, I repurchased. Unfortunately, the renewed product doesn't suit me as well. As time passes, especially when I smile, it settles into facial lines. Even when applied with a sponge, it feels less natural and thicker than before. There's not much else to add. I truly enjoyed everything about the pre-renewal version. Even with my dead skin cells, it worked well when I prepped my skin thoroughly and applied it by patting with a sponge. However, since the renewal, I'm now looking to switch to a different product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 2, 2015
It's moisturizing and not drying at all. I don't feel the dryness I used to experience with other brands' foundations. While the staying power isn't the best, it lasts quite well if you set it with a compact or powder. No matter what other foundations I try, I always come back to Hera! The staying power is a bit weak, and the lid tends to get quite messy with use. Mix it with a honey-like serum for an amazing Inner Glow! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 28, 2015
While it may not be as moisturizing as Es*** Lauder's foundation, it provides excellent coverage considering its hydrating properties. It doesn't tend to lift or separate much even as time passes. It has a strong yellow undertone, which can be problematic. Even when you try to create a bright, fresh look by laying down a pink base, this foundation covers it all up, ruining the effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 28, 2014
It matches my complexion perfectly. The coverage is pretty good too. It lasts long and barely darkens throughout the day. It can get a bit dry as time passes. If you don't have a solid base, it might look patchy. The product keeps getting on the inside of the lid when I close it, making the pretty case messy. I mix it with a hydrating cream or pearl base before applying.
