It's not irritating and is gentle. ConsI don't know if it's just me, but even with a small amount, it feels sticky. Personally, I don't like sticky formulas. My hair gets all stuck to it too. In the morning, after applying it and doing my makeup, it's 100% smudged. My makeup doesn't apply well either.
