Perfect for a light application in midsummer. It seems to form a nice hydration barrier. Feels slippery when washing off, which is great! I used it with the It's Skin emulsion, and it felt sticky. It's like peeling off tape, haha. Just average overall. Hello there! - lo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 18, 2016
It seems pretty good for a product with quality ingredients at such an affordable price. It's gentle and doesn't cause any irritation. I'm not sure if it's just me, but even when I apply a small amount, it feels sticky. Personally, I don't like sticky textures. My hair gets all stuck to my face. If I apply this in the morning and then put on makeup, it definitely causes pilling, and it's hard to apply makeup over it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 18, 2016
It's moisturizing, gentle, and affordable. I love how it makes my skin feel soft. No blemishes either! Everything's great, but being human... I wonder if it's almost too gentle to have any real effect... It's best to use small amounts and apply it gradually. - qp*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessNov 13, 2015
It seems like a decent daily moisturizer for summer use. Unless you're buying it specifically for summer or to mix with oils, it's just average. It's really unremarkable and lacks any standout features. For best results, try mixing a drop or two of facial oil with this product and applying it before bed in spring or fall. You can also use it lightly under makeup for added hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 10, 2015
As someone with dehydrated oily skin, I was looking for a light, refreshing moisturizer for summer. After reading reviews, I decided to give this a try. It turned out to be perfect for the warmer months - not too drying, yet not overly greasy either. While it worked well in summer, once winter came around, it left my skin feeling parched and dry. When I applied makeup over it in the morning, my foundation started to separate. Unless you have very oily skin, I wouldn't recommend this for winter use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 5, 2015
I absolutely love how this cream is packed with hydration. I carefully read the reviews before buying, and I'm really satisfied with my purchase. You know how these days many so-called 'hydrating creams' are actually just moisturizers in disguise, right? With my blemish-prone skin and easily clogged pores, I needed a cream focused purely on hydration rather than moisturizing. And this one fits the bill perfectly! It's a bit too ordinary for my liking. There's nothing particularly special about it, so I'm on the fence about repurchasing. I'm planning to try a hydrating cream with more noticeable effects. If I can't find one, I guess I'll stick with this. The jar packaging is a bit of a concern - having to open the lid and scoop out the product feels unhygienic and inconvenient. I wish it came in a tube format too. Oh, and for those with dry skin, this alone might not be enough. It's a given that you'll need to pair it with a moisturizer anyway. Don't expect this to be your one-and-done solution, or you might experience deep dryness. I have a feeling it might not play well under makeup. I haven't tried it yet, but it feels a bit sticky, so your foundation might pill. @Update 11.20 Not impressed... It doesn't have any special features that actually improve your skin, and despite the hyaluronic acid in its name, it doesn't even feel that hydrating. I'm only using it up because I got an extra one, but I won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 4, 2015
As someone with typical oily skin, I find it challenging to balance oil and moisture, so I focus on hydration. Speaking of this cream, once the bouncy hydrating gel-cream absorbs into the skin, my face feels plump and firm. It's as if you can sense the moisture-binding power of the hyaluronic acids. Despite my oily skin, it doesn't leave a greasy feeling, and the matte finish lasts surprisingly long, which I love. I even went ahead and repurchased it! The downside is the ingredients! For a brand like Isntree, there are a few not-so-great components visible. While they don't irritate my skin, it's still disappointing now that I know about them. It's fantastic when used with a hyaluronic acid toner! The toner itself has a bouncy texture, and when you apply the cream on top, the plump feeling is quite pleasant. I actually enjoy how it makes my skin feel even bouncier... (I promise I'm not weird!) - ss******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinOct 22, 2015
It's so gentle and amazing! I really love it. It's so soft and smooth. The moment I put on makeup, I can't wait to wash my face in the evening and apply this. It's incredibly moisturizing and full of hydration. The ingredients are great too. I've struggled with facial atopy, but this has helped a lot. Though it's not solely because of this product~~ Unfortunately, it causes too much pilling when I apply makeup, so I can't use it in the morning. No matter how much I pat it in or try to help it absorb, it still pills up. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 25, 2015
The way it absorbs is pretty decent. The price is reasonable, and I like that it's paraben-free. The texture makes it easy to apply - just put some on the back of your hand and spread it around. It doesn't drip or run, which is nice. It takes a bit of time to fully absorb into the skin. Also, it tends to pill when you apply sunscreen over it, which is a bit frustrating. - in********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2015
The ingredients are great! It's moisturizing and I didn't experience any blemishes! It causes severe pilling with makeup. I recommend only applying it at night...
