Pros
I purchased this lip balm after my previous one ran out, based on recommendations. As it is a well-known lip balm brand, the price is on the higher side, but the concentrated moisturizing properties and smooth application formula make it worth it. While the quantity may seem small, I apply lip balm frequently and still have a lot left. The thin and slanted design makes it easy to apply evenly on the lips.
Cons
The only downside seems to be the price. These days, there are many good lip balms available at lower prices, so it would be great if they offered more discounts or promotions. But I would still buy this product 100% again!

Pros
I received this as a gift from a friend who just came back from Japan. It has a nice glide and is moderately oily, adhering well to the lips. The moisturizing power is also good, and it lasts longer when I apply it multiple times. It seems like it can be used comfortably by all skin types.
Cons
The price is a bit disappointing considering the volume, and the scent is quite unpleasant. It could be improved further.
Tip
Applying it with a 2-3 hour gap in between provides sufficient hydration.

Pros
Among the stick-type lip balms I've tried, this was the best. After using the pot-type, I thought the stick-type was wrong, but this one really moisturizes my lips with a nice, balancing feel that adheres well.
Cons
The lips feel cold... It doesn't melt well for me, so I have to swipe it on several times. And the DHC is a downside....

Pros
I've tried using several of them that I bought from an Osaka drugstore in the past. I've used both the regular pink and the UV-blocking white lip balm. Out of the two, the basic pink one was much better. The lip balm size is small, so it's easy to apply, and it has a nice, smooth application. I have a strong desire to repurchase it, but... After the previous DHC incident, it seems they are no longer sold at Olive Young. (That's why I ended up buying the Carmex product.)
Cons
The volume is small, and the lip balm stick is small as well.. It gets used up too quickly and too soon.. It's a shame.
Tip
If you apply it before bed or before using other lip products, it works even better! When the lip balm stick won't come up all the way, there's still some left at the bottom, so I use a cotton swab to get the last bit out!!

It's so moisturizing haha I've been using lip balm all year round and when someone gave it to me as a gift, I tried it and really liked it. The texture is soft and not waxy, and it adheres well. The moisturizing power is sufficient, so I really liked it. It doesn't smear too much even if you apply it before putting on lipstick. The absorption is good.
Cons
Haha the scent;; I was really surprised at first ㅋㅋ I opened it and there was an extremely old and rancid ointment smell...? What is this?? But after reading the reviews, it seems not everyone experiences that. Because of the price and the scent, I definitely won't be repurchasing this ㅋㅋ

The product applies smoothly and adheres well, doesn't it? It really wraps around the lips and seems to have good moisturizing power. Since it's colorless, you can apply it without worrying about lipstick. I also felt like it immediately addressed any flaky skin. The staying power was pretty good too.
Cons
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the scent. It had a bit of an old ointment or medicine-like smell to it... And after using it for a while, my lips started to feel a bit itchy. They also felt a bit stinging at times...

The texture of Bali is really nice. It felt good to have the balm melt into my lips and stick on comfortably.
Cons
The amount is too little for the price.. And at first it's almost odorless, but after using it for a while, there's a weird glue-like scent that I don't like..
Tip
If you apply it generously before bed and clean it up with a cotton pad in the morning, it really helps with exfoliating the dead skin!

Pros
This lip balm is a lifesaver for me, as I go through about 2 per 3 months. I think I've used around 7 of them so far, and they are so moisturizing and have great adhesion. There are many lip balms that don't absorb well and just sit on the surface, but this one doesn't have that issue.
Cons
When I first started using it, there was a strong tiger balm-like scent, but over time, the smell seems to dissipate or I've just gotten used to it.
Tip
If you store it in a hot environment, it will melt. Especially avoid keeping it in your pants pocket when it's hot out. Even if you try to re-solidify it by refrigerating it, it won't go back to its original state. Once it's melted, it becomes soft and loses its moisturizing properties, so you'll have to throw it away.

Pros
This is an honest review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer! The best part was that compared to other lip balms, it felt very lightweight but had excellent moisturizing power. I wore it for about a week before and after applying makeup, and I noticed that my lip flakes were significantly reduced, and most importantly, the lipstick adhesion was much better. My lips are usually very dry, so I have to apply lip balm frequently, and lipstick tends to emphasize the flakes, but this product kept my lips moisturized for a long time even if I just applied it before and after using lip products. The price is a bit on the higher side, so I would just look at it in the store and not buy it, but after trying it, the effects are quite good, so I'll definitely repurchase it when I run out. For those who often experience flaky lips, I think it's much more helpful to get this one instead of buying two cheaper lip balms like Nivea.
