As someone with oily skin, I've been searching for a cushion foundation that doesn't cause blemishes or make my face look greasy. I bought this a few years ago, and I've probably gone through about 10 compacts since then! It absorbs well, and I never experienced any pilling around my nose area. The coverage is a bit disappointing. Even after application, my pores are still visible, and blemishes show through. I'm using it with the mindset that it's just a sunscreen with a hint of color. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 17, 2017
Perfect for yellow and darker complexions. Gives a natural-looking skin finish. Strangely, this product caused tiny bumps on my skin. When I stopped using it, the issue cleared up. Also, the coverage and adherence are disappointing. It feels quite rich on the skin too. - ly******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMar 28, 2017
Has SPF protection Decent value for money Good coverage Slightly lighter than the shade number suggests Effectively conceals pores Non-sticky and non-greasy finish Slightly lacks luminosity Looks messy when it breaks down Powdery finish Irresponsibly includes BHA and nylon (microbeads) in the ingredients The inclusion of BHA is problematic for a cushion foundation Microbeads are terrible for the environment. Please avoid products containing microbeads. - mi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMar 13, 2017
I actually bought this because the case was so pretty, but the adherence turned out to be amazing. There was no pilling at all, and it applies in a thin layer, which is even better. The scent was too artificial, like old children's cosmetics, which I didn't like. Also, I usually wear shade 23, so I bought that, but it didn't brighten my skin as much as I hoped, which was disappointing. I recommend choosing a shade lighter than what you normally use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 23, 2017
It adheres well to the skin and leaves a nice, powdery finish. Later on, it tends to get oily and shiny, while also feeling dry. There's also a bit of patchiness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2017
The adherence is excellent, and above all, I loved how well it concealed my pores. It applies thinly, and the coverage is fairly decent. Lastly, I want to give this product tremendous praise for how effectively it hides pores! The scent reminded me a bit of my mom's makeup, which was slightly off-putting. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2017
The adherence and application were great. It went on smoothly and felt moisturizing! The longevity was a bit disappointing. Also, after some time, it became oily, making my face look shiny... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 4, 2017
I have very oily skin that only feels matte for a moment after washing! While searching for a cushion for oily skin, I heard Laneige was good, so I decided to give it a try. First off, when you tap the puff once, it picks up just the right amount to spread evenly on your face. Even without applying it thick, it covers minor blemishes well. For acne scars, you'll need to use a concealer! After application, it doesn't feel sticky and leaves a matte finish. About 2 hours later, some oil did appear around my nose, but... I was surprised to see the rest of my face still looked great! I'm just naturally very oily, haha. The staying power is also good - my makeup from the morning lasts until the afternoon! To be honest, there aren't any real downsides. If I had to pick one thing, it would be that the shade 23 has a slightly yellow undertone. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 7, 2017
I use this as a touch-up after my Estée Lauder foundation, or even on its own. It's much less oily and performs better than high-end cushions! It doesn't settle into wrinkles or break down in the T-zone nearly as much. I haven't tried the renewed version yet, but this cushion suits me far better than others. For those with oily skin, it offers good coverage without looking too pink. I love that it matches my neck color, looks natural, covers well, and lasts long! The amount of product seems a bit small. Also, after the renewal, they seem to focus only on the brightening aspect... I wish there were more shade options available. - kk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 30, 2016
The way it absorbs and adheres to the skin is great! It should be perfect for summer use. The coverage is a bit weak, and it doesn't seem moisturizing enough for winter use, unfortunately.
