·Hydrating This is my first time using a cleansing water, and it's as hydrating as an oil cleanser. ·Average cleansing effectiveness I use this first to remove lip and eye makeup, but it doesn't completely remove mascara. The reason it doesn't fully remove it might be because I don't clean thoroughly due to eye irritation. ·Inconvenient container The opening is too small. It takes a while to saturate the cotton pad, requiring multiple pours. ·Sticky residue after cleansing However, it's fine after rinsing with water a few times. ·Doesn't fully remove mascara Since I don't wear heavy makeup, it removes lipstick well, but mascara remains on the lower lashes. ·Eye irritation When I try to remove mascara and open my eyes, it stings... This might be why eye makeup doesn't come off completely. When going out for overnight trips, it's really convenient to soak cotton pads with cleansing water (the amount you normally use) and pack them in a small ziplock bag (available at dollar stores, smaller than your palm). - sy*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 22, 2015
The gentle ingredients are the only positive aspect I can think of... First off, if it gets in your eyes, it stings like crazy. While it seems to cleanse well, it causes irritation and leaves my skin flushed and red. It's also quite pricey. Won't be repurchasing.
