As someone with very dry skin and enlarged pores in the T-zone, plus quite a bit of skin texture, I decided to try this famous Darphin product that's known for improving skin texture. After applying, there's a tightening sensation on my skin. It feels like it's firming up, which makes me think, 'Is this actually working?' If you have dry skin, you'll need to follow up with intense hydration after using this product with your toner. It has a tightening effect, so it doesn't feel particularly moisturizing! For those with normal or oily skin, you might be fine using this as is. However, I found that if I layer a rich essence on top of this product, my skin feels incredibly firm and supple the next day! - my*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2019
Among Darphin serums, this is the one I've seen the most results with and my absolute favorite. First off, the absorption is fantastic. It glides on smoothly for oily skin types, leaving a slightly matte finish while still maintaining adequate hydration. As a functional serum targeting texture refinement and pore care, it truly delivers amazing results! When I apply this, I notice my pores looking tighter and my skin more radiant and translucent the next day. The serum has a fluid consistency, and after application, a subtle shimmery residue remains on the hands - not sure what ingredient causes this. While Darphin's Intral Serum is good for redness and Hydraskin is for hydration, I was shocked to find their ingredients weren't great. Surprisingly, Intral has better ingredients, which was unexpected. I'm currently on my 4th bottle and have one stashed away - I get anxious when I run out! I really urge you to try this. However, those with dry skin might find it slightly tightening. If you have combination to oily skin and are concerned about enlarged pores or skin texture, you'll discover your holy grail serum here! The biggest drawback of this serum is its price and quantity. It's the second most expensive in the serum line, I believe. I've only purchased it duty-free, always around 80,000-90,000 won. In department stores, it's probably just under 200,000 won. The amount you get for the price is disappointing. It's 30ml, but due to its fluid consistency, one pump is enough for one cheek. For face and neck, you need about 7-8 pumps. If you use it daily, it absolutely won't last a month. A friend I recommended it to finished a bottle in just 3 weeks! Compared to other serums where 30ml can last 3-4 months, the price-to-quantity ratio is really unfavorable. Since skin condition varies daily, it's better to alternate between different serums rather than using the same one every day. I personally use about 5 different serums. I only use this particular serum once or twice a week at most. Even with this frequency, you can still experience the immediate effects that Darphin is known for.
