This is my go-to product. It's gentle and doesn't cause any blemishes. You can use it as a substitute for sunscreen. There's nothing to complain about. It's consistently gentle and great as always. I hope it stays in stock and continues to be available. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2022
The value for money is incredible with its generous amount, and above all, it absorbs beautifully. It enhances skin texture and has good staying power. With its great ingredients, there's no worry about causing blemishes. The shade is a bit dark. However, it actually gives a healthy complexion look, so it's fine once you get used to it. Applying it with a damp sponge creates an even more radiant glow. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinNov 10, 2018
It seems to prevent blemishes, probably due to its good ingredients. While the coverage might not be the best, I keep using it because it feels gentle on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2018
It really suits my skin well. I feel like my skin is becoming softer and the texture is improving. Plus, I'm not experiencing any blemishes! Unless you reapply, the staying power isn't particularly long-lasting. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 20, 2017
The Hwahae Trial Reviewer is a fantastic product. I've tried all kinds of foundations, cushions, and BB creams, but this one is the first to really adhere to my skin so well. The coverage is quite good (for stubborn redness, a concealer is still recommended). The slightly ashy tone works well with my typical East Asian yellow-toned complexion, and it looks natural even as time passes. There's no cakiness or breakdown, and it's a great value. I quickly understood why it's considered perfect. Of course, individual experiences may vary, but I didn't experience any breakouts while using it. I would 100% repurchase once I finish the current one. The shade may be a bit darker than the typical #23 color. Dry-skinned individuals may find it a bit drying (though it adheres well to my naturally oily skin over time). Those seeking absolutely flawless coverage may find the coverage slightly lacking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 7, 2017
Compared to regular BB creams or foundation products, it tends to cause fewer breakouts and feels less heavy. When it breaks down, it doesn't get overly messy and disintegrates in a fairly natural way. The gray tone is a bit too strong. And while it doesn't break out often, I can sometimes feel a slight prickling sensation as if small bumps are about to appear, though they don't really show up much. It also has a bit of an 'mom's makeup' smell to it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 7, 2017
I started using this BB cream because it was said to be less irritating for troubled skin! I was a bit skeptical at first since I was switching from foundation, but the lightweight feel and decent coverage were better than expected! Compared to BB creams with good coverage, this one seems to cause fewer breakouts and minimizes pores more. :) I'm on my second tube now and plan to keep using this BB cream until my troubled skin clears up. Haha. I was worried the shade 23 would be too dark, but as someone who usually uses shade 21, I didn't feel it was too dark at all. It doesn't have brightening effects, but it functions well as a daily BB cream. I usually avoid BB creams with a gray cast, but this one hardly has any and just does its job as a BB cream nicely. Haha. It's not too drying or overly dewy, so I can use it regardless of the season. Of course, it doesn't make my skin look as flawless as expensive foundations or BB creams, and it doesn't have the same long-lasting wear. But if you don't have any skin troubles, you probably don't need this BB cream!! There are many other great foundations and BB creams out there! It's not watery, but a bit thicker in texture, which some may or may not like. Since I'm shade 23, I felt it was a bit dark, so I'd recommend applying this BB cream first, then using a shade 21 concealer to cover any blemishes or dark circles, and finishing with a shade 21 powder. As someone who normally uses shade 21 BB cream, this routine allows me to get the look I want without any breakouts. When applying the BB cream, it's better to do a few thin layers rather than one thick layer. That way, the coverage blends in better and the skin looks more refined. Using a damp sponge to gently pat it on helps create a dewy, seamless finish without any patchiness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2017
It's great that there are no troubles and it doesn't really irritate sensitive skin. The color is a bit dark... It's #23 but still :0 The longevity is also a bit lacking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 6, 2016
The product seems to be gentle on the skin, suitable for the Sidmool brand. It does not cause any trouble and can be used consistently. The coverage does not seem to last very long, only about 3-4 hours. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2016
Although I have troubled skin, this BB cream does not cause any additional breakouts, which is great. When you use a BB cream that doesn't suit your skin, it can really mess up your skin, right? But this one doesn't do that, so I'm happy with it. The longevity is...lacking. When you apply it, the coverage is decent to some extent. But over time, the redness and everything else starts to show through again...*sigh* You have to use a concealer as well, as this alone doesn't provide full coverage. And depending on the skin condition, sometimes it adheres well, and sometimes it just floats on top. You need to do exfoliation and proper moisturizing to make it work...*sigh* It's not exactly matte, but there are times when it doesn't seem to blend in very well, so I've mixed it with a lotion or something to use it.
