I initially started using this BB cream because my skin deteriorated after applying thick layers of matte foundation daily to stay matte in summer. So I sought a foundation with good ingredients that wouldn't stress my skin. I didn't expect much, thinking it would be inferior to foundation, but I was pleasantly surprised. 1. Application: It has an emulsion-like texture and feels so effortless you can apply it with your fingers without any issues. 2. Color: This might be somewhat divisive - it has a slight whitish tint, making it appear a bit brighter than a typical #23 shade. It's great for those wanting a more radiant look than their natural skin, but the color difference might be noticeable if you're after a natural cover. 3. Ingredients: It's Sidmool, so of course they're excellent! 4. Touch-ups: Both a pro and a con - the BB cream is thin and not matte, so it wears off easily, but I found it easier to touch up than matte foundations. 5. Cleansing: I usually double cleanse, but with this product, one cleanse is enough to remove it completely. 6. Coverage: I didn't expect much here, but it seems to cover light acne scars and marks quite well. 1. Longevity: As expected from a BB cream, it's oilier and less long-lasting compared to matte foundations. It also transfers easily onto masks and wears off quickly when wearing one. 2. Sweat resistance: This product is very vulnerable to water - if you sweat while wearing it, it immediately turns into white streaks. Since the BB cream itself is on the oily side, it's crucial to use a matte puff like a wedge puff and definitely set it with powder. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 23, 2022
It feels so natural, like you're barely wearing anything. Could work well as a substitute for sunscreen. On my skin, it doesn't seem to last long or provide good coverage. It's more like a brightening moisturizer with SPF. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2021
Satisfied. It's gentle, absorbs well, and keeps my skin hydrated. I've used over 3 bottles. The staying power is disappointing. It causes some darkening. I use it with oil-control powder or a brightening moisturizer sunscreen. Using it with a tone-correcting sunscreen helps counteract the darkening effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2018
It really suits my skin well. I feel like my skin is becoming softer and the texture is improving. Plus, I'm not experiencing any blemishes! Unless you reapply, the staying power isn't particularly long-lasting. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2017
It's great that there are no troubles and it doesn't really irritate sensitive skin. The color is a bit dark... It's #23 but still :0 The longevity is also a bit lacking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 6, 2016
The product seems to be gentle on the skin, suitable for the Sidmool brand. It does not cause any trouble and can be used consistently. The coverage does not seem to last very long, only about 3-4 hours. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 22, 2016
I used to be satisfied with the product and used it, but I wanted to try a completely different product, so I used another product in the middle... I came back!!!! ++ It's been about 2 months since I came back. The biggest reason I came back is because of the color! I have an ambiguous 22nd skin tone between 21st and 23rd, and this BB cream is just that color!! The 21st color at the drugstores is too bright and the 23rd is too dark..... And as a BB cream, the fact that it doesn't have much of a grayish tone is pleasing to me~ It has good spreadability! So it seems to be able to express the skin naturally! But the coverage is not terrible (not very good, but) And unlike cushions, it doesn't get dirty and crumble, which is a good thing. If I have to point out the downside... If you don't apply powder on top, the staying power is a bit... not great... It spreads well with the hands, but these days when it's sticky, the latex puff seems to absorb the oil a bit, so it helps express it smoothly.. So these days, I've been applying it by tapping it on with a latex puff on top of the sunscreen. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2016
First of all, it has good sun protection, so you don't need to apply a lot of sunscreen in the basic steps. It applies smoothly and has decent coverage, not bad at all. If you gently dab the problematic areas with a puff, most of it can be covered. Since it's extremely oily and greasy, the longevity is...not great... It creates an oily buildup around the nose area, and the lips feel uneven above and below. If it's not an extremely oily and greasy type, it should be fine. Judging from how well it holds up on the forehead, I used the Amore Pacific Air Cushion in 21, but I found that the 23 shade suited me better, haha. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2016
Although I have troubled skin, this BB cream does not cause any additional breakouts, which is great. When you use a BB cream that doesn't suit your skin, it can really mess up your skin, right? But this one doesn't do that, so I'm happy with it. The longevity is...lacking. When you apply it, the coverage is decent to some extent. But over time, the redness and everything else starts to show through again...*sigh* You have to use a concealer as well, as this alone doesn't provide full coverage. And depending on the skin condition, sometimes it adheres well, and sometimes it just floats on top. You need to do exfoliation and proper moisturizing to make it work...*sigh* It's not exactly matte, but there are times when it doesn't seem to blend in very well, so I've mixed it with a lotion or something to use it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2016
The skin care products from Sidmool seem to do their job well even in the harsh conditions of my skin, so I generally trust them (although some products didn't work for me). Thanks to Sidmool, I can now comfortably apply sunscreen and BB cream, even though I used to have trouble applying skin lotion properly. I'm mostly satisfied with the Mineral BB Cream. It provides adequate sun protection and doesn't make my face feel stuffy. When I wear it, my face feels light and not constricted, which is the part I'm most satisfied with. Although I have fair skin, I never use shade 21 because it often makes the face look unnaturally pale. I prefer a more natural-looking tone, so I usually go for a slightly darker shade. The Mineral BB Cream in shade 23 provides a natural-looking tone correction. It's not too pale, and although it looked a bit dark at first, it blended well with my skin tone over time, giving a natural, seamless look. However, it doesn't make me look completely bare-faced, which is a downside mentioned in the review. If you're looking for a product that makes you look completely bare-faced, this is not the one. The coverage is quite light, yet ironically, it still leaves a noticeable makeup look. It doesn't cover blemishes very well, but it does even out the skin tone. However, it's still obvious that you're wearing makeup. Even though I apply it very lightly because my skin is quite sensitive, it's still apparent that I'm wearing makeup. In the end, the "I'm bare-faced" look doesn't really work with this product. And as someone with oily skin, the poor longevity is a downside for me as well. It doesn't last very well. Here are some tips for applying the product as thinly and naturally as possible: Use a foundation brush. Dispense about 2/3 of the amount you think you need onto the brush, and apply it in quick, light brushstrokes across your face (brushes can sometimes leave visible brush marks, and the coverage may not be as seamless as desired). After the initial brushwork, use a foundation puff to lightly but thoroughly dab and press the product into your skin all over your face. Be gentle and evenly distribute it - don't press too hard or focus too much on one area, or the puff may pick up the product again. If you need additional coverage in certain areas (like blemishes, acne, or scars), apply a small amount of the BB cream by lightly tapping it on with your finger (though it may not provide full coverage due to the light formula). Use a concealer to cover any remaining problem areas that need more coverage.
