Pros
For a year, I've used only a toner and CPI cream for my skincare routine, and this CPI cream alone has been sufficient for hydration and soothing. The reasons I love this product and have been using it exclusively are: 1. It does not cause any breakouts. I developed severe adult acne and was on the hunt for a suitable skincare product. This was the only one that didn't irritate my skin, and I've been using it ever since (for 5 years now). I was looking for a cream without pore-clogging ingredients, and this was the perfect find - I'm completely satisfied with it. 2. The texture is very smooth and spreadable. A small amount can cover my entire face. The cream is incredibly soft and creamy, with no heaviness or stickiness. 3. It provides great hydration. I use this cream morning and night, year-round. The oil balance is just right - not too much, not too little. After application, my skin looks healthy, supple, and bouncy. In summer, I can use a bit more to control any excess oil, and in winter, I sometimes layer it with a toner and essence, but this cream alone is usually sufficient. 4. It has a soothing effect. This product doesn't instantly clear up acne, but it helps calm down any sudden breakouts or irritation. I notice the redness and swelling subsiding by the next morning. While it doesn't directly treat acne, using this consistently has gradually improved my skin over time, as no new blemishes appear.

1. The packaging is really inconvenient At first, the product comes out easily, but towards the end, I have to really squeeze hard to get the last bits out. I wish they would just use a regular cap instead. Even when I think I've used it all up, if I cut open the container, there's still enough for about 3 more days of use! 😂 2. Pilling This seems to be an issue with my skin type. Whenever I apply the cream and then rub my face, little balls of product pill up and come off, almost like dirt or dead skin. Even when I use just a small amount, the same thing happens when I massage it in with my hands...ㅠㅠ

It's effective and calms the skin well even after just one day, making it moisturized. I think it was good that the effects were visible quickly. It seems to be the most effective for skin soothing. The amount is more than expected, so I can use it for a long time.

Pros
There was no irritation. It felt moisturizing when applied.
Cons
But it wasn't moisturizing, it was a bit tacky and the makeup was too cakey. I couldn't even apply cushion or foundation on top of it.. Even without makeup, when I applied sunscreen or other lotions, it would peel off, so I only used it at night.

I bought it when my skin became sensitive, and it was amazing how the reddish skin calmed down quickly. I thought it was my holy grail, but unfortunately...
Cons
It was extremely drying for me.. I have dry skin, but since this is the most famous, I bought it, but even with oil mixed in, it's still dry..there's no solution. And when I apply it before makeup, it cakes up like dirt.

The cream is very similar to the Innisfree TMR cream I reviewed before. It applies smoothly and leaves a moisturized, velvety finish.
Cons
Over time, the oiliness becomes excessive. If you apply this and then do your makeup, you'll be miserable all day. It gets greasy and slick. While it's very similar to the TMR cream, considering the price and volume, I'd recommend going with the TMR cream.
Tip
If you feel this is just an average cream, I'd suggest switching to the Innisfree TMR cream. The formulas are similar, but the price and volume are quite different.

As the temperature dropped, I bought Aesop Mandarin Cream and found that it didn't provide enough moisture for my dry skin. I was wondering what to get, and then I saw that Sunmi had recently advertised Avène products, and they were even selling a set, so I decided to try it out. To get to the point, the product doesn't have many ingredients, which could be seen as a good thing, as it's pure. I didn't experience any skin troubles. It was just average. However, the tube opening is really nice - it dispenses just the right amount of lotion.
Cons
Using the Avène skin mist and lotion alone wasn't enough to address my dry skin issues. I had to apply an essence in between as well. Another point that was both good and disappointing for me was that it was just average. I didn't notice any significant changes. I even got some pimples, and the cream didn't seem to help reduce them at all. Also, if you don't absorb it properly or apply it a bit thickly, it can feel a bit heavy and sticky. I don't have the desire to repurchase this product.

It's nice that it's not too heavy of a cream. It also seems to have a soothing effect.

If it doesn't absorb properly, the makeup around the T-zone area can get cakey and uneven.

I have rosacea-prone sensitive skin, and after using this product, my redness has decreased a bit. Also, I have an extremely dry skin type, but even with just a small amount applied, I didn't experience any tightness. I will definitely repurchase this product.
