The advantage is that the active one seems to better retain moisture and protect the skin. It feels soft yet refreshing. There seems to be some additional ingredients, but I'm not sure of the exact differences. Although it claims to be organic, the ingredients don't seem that gentle. It might not be good for dry skin. It feels quite irritating, possibly due to the alcohol content. 
aj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2018Based on my experience, the soothing effect is quite noticeable after shaving. The scent is also nice, not too strong. Even though I have sensitive skin, I don't experience any breakouts or issues. The difference between using it and not using it is very significant. I suppose this is the case with all aftershaves though haha If you were to ask for my personal recommendation or non-recommendation, I would firmly recommend it! It would be better if the current product had a slightly larger quantity. After applying the aftershave, I also use a skin lotion.
