You really have to apply this product very thinly, or else it can look a bit cakey and unnatural, especially in direct sunlight when the shimmer is more noticeable. Even when I apply it thinly, I'm not fully convinced it provides adequate UV protection.

This day cream with UV protection is great for days when I don't do much outdoor activity. I tried the Eucerin one first, but it was a bit irritating, so I switched to this one and it's really gentle, even around the eye area. The subtle shimmer gives a nice, lightly made-up look, which I really like, especially since I have quite fair skin - the shimmer makes my complexion look more radiant. I don't think the ingredients are harmful to the skin.
