I've been using Clinique's original mascara for a long time, so I thought this one would be good too and decided to give it a try. It's easy to remove, applies smoothly, and comes off easily. However, I found that I actually prefer the original mascara much more. If I were to repurchase, I'd go for the original version. The reason is that I didn't notice much difference in the volumizing effect compared to the original. Also, when it comes to removal, the original mascara seemed to come off much more effortlessly. - mk****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 26, 2023
It absorbs smoothly with minimal clumping. Perfect for short lashes! Even with multiple coats, it doesn't lengthen much. Not ideal for dramatic doll-like lashes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2022
It's fantastic that it doesn't irritate my eyes and comes off cleanly with just warm water It tends to solidify relatively quickly, making it difficult to use for an extended period - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2022
It curls lashes nicely with a thin coat. Since my lashes are short, it's difficult to use mascaras with thick brushes, but this one works well. It's supposed to be removable with water, but when I use it with eyeliner and eyeshadow, only the mascara comes off, leaving me with raccoon eyes. Using a point remover requires multiple rubs, which irritates my eyelids. When removing, I apply point remover to a cotton pad and gently wipe twice. For the rest, I cleanse my face and carefully roll the cleanser around my eyes for a thorough clean. - lo***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2022
I usually avoid waterproof mascaras because they're hard to remove and feel heavy. But Clinique's mascara is so famous for a reason! It applies lightly and I love that it's easy to cleanse with just lukewarm water. The downside is that mascaras have a short shelf life, and this one is quite pricey. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2021
It doesn't smudge and wipes off cleanly! Might seem like a small thing, but it's actually the best feature when you use it. There's a reason I keep coming back to this product. I used to have no complaints, but since COVID... When there's moisture in the mask, the mascara smudges. What used to be an advantage - only coming off with water - has now become a drawback. - ar****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
Clinique's mascara applies smoothly and effortlessly. It adds volume and lifts the lashes beautifully. The quantity seems a bit on the smaller side. I don't think it will last for very long. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 24, 2020
It goes on smoothly and doesn't smudge at all... It truly stays put. It's the best! I buy it all the time. I was about to say there's nothing bad... but it's Japanese. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2020
Easy to control the amount and hardly any clumping. It was great for achieving a natural, lightly mascara-ed look. Its lightweight and compact size made it perfect for travel. Despite being marketed as a volumizing mascara, it didn't really deliver on making lashes look fuller. - kn****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2019
If you control the amount well at the tube opening, it applies lightly without clumping. The thin brush makes it easy to apply. Even though I have oily eyelids, it doesn't smudge much (just a tiny bit around the eyes). When applied after using an eyelash curler, the curl tends to last longer. You need to be thorough with cleansing. It's important to control the amount carefully when applying. After adjusting the amount three or four times at the opening, apply it once or twice more for a smooth application without clumping.
