The quality is way beyond my expectations..!! I'm truly satisfied! First off, it applies incredibly creamy and pigmented regardless of your lip condition. It glides on smoothly, providing full coverage in just one swipe without emphasizing wrinkles or dead skin cells. The color payoff is amazing! It's easy to blend too. If you're feeling lazy, you can just swipe it on your bottom lip and press your lips together for an even application. It's super moisturizing without feeling heavy on the lips, and it has great staying power. Usually, when a lip product is this creamy and hydrating, it tends to slip around and transfer easily, feeling like a greasy layer on top of your lips. But this one doesn't budge or wipe off easily. I wore it all day with a mask on, and it didn't smear at all, which often happens with other lipsticks. The longevity is really impressive. It's so comfortable and lightweight, you forget you're wearing it. As someone with very dry lips (I can't wear matte lipsticks at all), I often struggle to find a balance between hydration and comfort. This product nails it - it's not drying or heavy feeling at all. Even after hours of wear, it doesn't settle into fine lines, cling to dry patches, or leave patchy stains. Reapplication is a breeze, looking as fresh as the first application. The stick format makes it super convenient to apply. It's forgiving on less-than-perfect lip days too! Unlike some creamy formulas that can dry out your lips over time, this one stays consistently moisturizing. The color is a beautiful fuchsia pink - not too blue-based or neon, making it wearable and perfect for spring and summer. It's bright without being dark or intense, giving a lovely fresh look. Cool-toned folks will love this! The cap on this stick-type product can sometimes come loose in your bag, which is annoying. It doesn't click shut like a traditional lipstick, it just slides on. Also, the one I received seems to have a slight defect - there's a rattling sound inside when I shake it. It doesn't affect the performance, but it's a bit unsettling. The stick goes up and down fine, but it's just... off-putting. While not a product issue per se, I bought this during an Olive Young sale and received one with less than 10 months left before expiration - not even a full year! I purchased shade 5 from Olive Young during their sale, but had to buy shade 6 (Rose) directly from Clinique's official site as Olive Young doesn't carry it. Interestingly, the one from Clinique's site has almost 2 years left before expiration. It could be a coincidence, but the short shelf life from the Olive Young purchase is disappointing. While it looks great with just one swipe, pairing it with a more subdued classic red creates a beautiful look. Try applying it just in the center of your lips or blend the two shades together for a gorgeous effect! The shade I'm referring to in the photo is number 5. For reference, shade 6 is called Lumi-Rose in this same product line. - 77*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedMar 6, 2020
This is my second tube and it's a perfect match for my skin tone - a vibrant fuchsia pink! It's moisturizing and feels great. The amount is a bit small, unfortunately. But the color payoff is so intense that it lasts longer than expected. - ci***Combination SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2018
1. A hot pink shade that perfectly suits cool-toned skin. It's a vibrant pink that gives off a refreshing impression. 2. While I'm not sure about the specific benefits of the ingredients, I didn't experience any blemishes. 3. The color payoff is incredibly intense, like a powerhouse. No need for multiple applications. To be precise... reapplying might actually be too much. 4. It's neither drying nor moisturizing. If I had to choose, it leans slightly towards the dry side... You'll need to take care of hydration separately, but personally, I liked that it wasn't sticky. 1. Since it's not a tint, the staying power isn't great... 2. After using it for a while, I looked up the ingredients and found 9 potentially concerning components, which now worries me... 3. Because the color is so pigmented, it feels like there's too much product. It might take years to switch to another product, which is kind of frustrating, haha. 4. While it doesn't seem to emphasize dead skin cells, it doesn't really smooth them out either. Don't apply this as a full lip color or layer it on too thick. It'll end up all over your teeth, haha. When you smile, it'll definitely transfer. So, apply it lightly and blend it well by pressing your lips together multiple times. If you apply lip balm first and then layer this on top, it looks natural and feels moisturizing, which is quite nice. - dk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 21, 2017
I love how moisturizing it is, so I don't need to apply lip balm separately. The long-lasting power is also great! After applying it to my lower lip, there's a slight whitish cast? It feels like it doesn't spread evenly. The color is a mix of deep pink and red, which comes across as quite intense. Unfortunately, it's not really a shade I prefer.
