This lip product combines the moisturizing formula of a lip balm with the sheer color of a tint. Crayon-style lip products became so popular that almost every drugstore brand released one. Clinique's Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, which laid the foundation for the lip crayon craze, was once so popular it sold one every 15 seconds worldwide. It's considered a pioneer in sparking the boom of moisturizing crayon-style lip balms. It adheres gently to your lips like your natural lip color and isn't sticky, so your hair won't stick to your lips - a big plus! Shea butter, mango seed butter, and jojoba oil protect your lips, keeping them hydrated without any stickiness. You can apply it easily by gliding it on like a crayon. Although it's in the lip balm category, it comes in a variety of colors with excellent pigmentation, making it a go-to item in colder seasons. Among the shades, I find Mega Melon, a muted coral color, particularly suits me well. The price point is a bit high, which is disappointing. It would be great if it were a little more affordable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2021
Daily ★★★★★ This is a perfect daily lip balm for warm skin tones. It has a subtle tint that enhances your natural lip color, giving you a healthy, vibrant look. The color is slightly deeper than your natural lip shade and glides on smoothly, adding a touch of vitality! It's so natural that people will think you're just wearing lip balm. There's a hint of shimmer too. Highly recommended for warm-toned individuals seeking that 'My Lips But Better' effect - it's exactly that feeling! Portability ★★★★ Its compact size makes it easy to carry around. I often toss it in my pencil case too. The cap closes securely, and it won't open accidentally even if it's rolling around in your bag. Price 😕😕😕 I had to buy this in a hurry abroad where there aren't many roadshop brands like Etude House, and it was much cheaper there - about $13 if I remember correctly. If I had to pay 30,000 won for 3g of this product now... I probably wouldn't buy it. The price is just too steep. Quantity 😕😕😕😕😕 I was shocked when I first twisted up the product all the way... I expected it to be about half the length of the packaging, but it was only about as long as one finger joint. I remember twisting it back and forth for a while, thinking 'What's this?' I thought it might be because it's a packaged product, but seeing that the original amount is 3g, it seems this is just the standard quantity. I've attached swatches of the product! It shows 1, 2, and 3 swipes, and the color after wiping off the 3-swipe swatch with a tissue. The color on the tissue is actually more vibrant than the actual swatch on the skin! - tu*********Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsNov 24, 2020
Such an adorable lip product style. I bought it at duty-free... At this price, I deeply regret my purchase... It's really not great. It is moisturizing, I'll give it that. The application is smooth, like putting on a tinted lip balm, and the color payoff is decent. The scent is reminiscent of old plastic products. But what is this scent... This overwhelming smell makes it impossible for me to use. Even though I'm sensitive to fragrances, it's extremely rare for me to completely give up on a product. Unfortunately, I'm abandoning this one. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2020
The texture is wonderfully creamy, just like ice cream - it absorbs beautifully into the skin. The color is absolutely gorgeous! The product volume is disappointingly small. The fragrance is rather unremarkable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 11, 2020
Oh my goodness... Clinique, the brand even Chungha uses... If Chungha uses it, I trust it completely... Please keep Chungha as the model forever, I beg you! There's nothing disappointing about it. However, if they use a different model, I'll be heartbroken. Please keep Chungha as the face of the brand forever! - so*******Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2020
This lip product is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it! It's perfect for daily use on my autumn warm skin tone. As someone with dry skin, I love how it applies with a watery texture and doesn't cause any dead skin cells to flake. The staying power is also quite good. It looks even more beautiful when blended with other lip products for a gradient effect. The crayon-type packaging makes it super easy to apply without a mirror, which is great for lazy people like me! Personally, I think the price might be the only downside. It would probably be more reasonable to purchase it at a duty-free shop. I used it to create a gradient effect with another lip product - a matte pink-coral shade. Everyone kept asking me what lip product I was wearing! - tk****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2020
The color seems perfect for autumn. While the case might look too brown, it's not like that when applied. The absorbs well too. The downside is that the color payoff seems a bit weak, and the staying power is also not great. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 11, 2020
The color looks natural, and it's perfect for a quick swipe before heading to school or academy. Being a stick format makes it even better. The design and packaging are also pretty. While the shimmer might be hit or miss for some, I'm a fan, so I loved it. First off, the price is a bit high. Oddly, the more you apply, the more the stick inside tilts. This causes product to smear on the opening and cap, which is a bit annoying. It's also disappointing how easily the silver part of the cap and twisting mechanism gets scratched. More of a tip than a hack: this looks prettier if your natural lip color is on the lighter side. It also looks great layered with the two-tone tomato shade from the same line. Mixing them together might create an even prettier look. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityJul 15, 2019
It absorbs well and has a nice texture. You can just apply it quickly and pat it in, and it spreads easily. The stick is thick, making it difficult to apply precisely along the lip line. However, whether you apply it heavily or as a gradient, there's not much difference, so it's not really a concern. It's a coral beige color that looks pretty on the back of my hand, but it's almost identical to my natural lip color, so there's no noticeable difference when applied. On bare skin, it gives a subtle shimmer and looks fine, but when worn over makeup, it tends to make my lips appear a bit pale. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2019
As a color lip balm, it's great to carry just this one even with a bare face. Whether you have warm or cool-toned lips, if you layer this lip balm before applying your lipstick, it won't emphasize dead skin cells and gives a beautifully subtle glow! Even before applying matte lipstick, if you put this on first, it creates a gorgeously moisturized look! If there's one downside, it's that with frequent use, the cap tends to become loose! Whether you have cool or warm-toned lips, if you apply this color lip balm and use it to smudge your lip line, any color will look soft and delicate. I especially tend to pick at my lips, which causes dead skin cells to appear, but when I apply this color lip balm and then put matte lipstick on top, it creates an incredibly soft and delicate look!
