1. Ingredients This product contains ingredients similar to sebum, but derived from natural sources. I bought it with confidence because it's 100% jojoba oil. 2. Versatility It's great for hydration and cleansing, making it ideal to mix in small amounts with various products. 1. Shelf life I'm concerned about the oil going rancid. It's probably best to use it up quickly. It would be better if it came in a smaller size and a darker container. 1. Sebum removal Once a week, apply a generous amount of oil to your nose and roll it - the sebum comes right out. 2. DIY mist Buy an empty mist bottle from a dollar store, then mix a super hydrating toner with a small amount of this oil. Carry it around for an affordable and effective mist on the go. 3. Cleansing oil boost I mix a little jojoba oil into my regular cleansing oil. It improves the cleansing effectiveness. - to*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 10, 2025
Even with a small amount, the hydration is quite impressive, keeping my skin moisturized until morning. The oil is lightweight and absorbs well, making it suitable for my combination dehydrated skin without feeling heavy. There's hardly any scent, so it's easy to use alongside other products without any conflicts. On hot days or when my skin gets oilier, it can make my face a bit shiny, so I need to adjust the amount I use. The container doesn't have a dropper, which makes it slightly inconvenient to dispense the desired amount. - xa********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2025
A holy grail product for dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin that tends to break out due to dehydration. Mixing it with essence has been a game-changer, bringing much-needed hydration and a radiant glow. It's challenging to control the amount without transferring it to a separate container. The product comes out in large quantities, which can be frustrating. For winter care of dry, acne-prone skin, try adding a couple of drops to your essence during your morning skincare routine. This keeps the skin beautifully hydrated. I personally use this method year-round, even in summer! - zi******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresJun 5, 2025
The natural jojoba oil seems to provide instant hydration to extremely dry areas. It doesn't appear to be suitable for delicate and sensitive skin. However, it seems adequate for adding shine to arms, heels, and nails. - im*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 1, 2025
I use this as part of my nighttime skincare routine to enhance the absorption of toner and ampoule. Just 5-10 drops does the trick! Make sure to close the lid tightly. The price is a bit disappointing! It rarely goes on sale. - gu*********Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025
Every night before bed, I apply this jojoba oil as the final step after my cream. The hydration it provides is excellent. I didn't experience any blemishes, but I used it up faster than expected, so I wish the volume was a bit more generous. - pj*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 26, 2025
The texture is incredibly lightweight and refreshing. Despite being an oil, it's not heavy and absorbs quickly, which is a major plus. It feels perfect for combination dehydrated skin. I've heard jojoba oil helps regulate sebum production, so I'd like to use it consistently and see the results. It's both a pro and a con - the fresh, non-greasy texture makes it a bit challenging to use as a massage oil. It absorbs too quickly during massage, causing dead skin cells to pill up. I'd only recommend this for those looking to use it as a facial oil. Many people have also pointed out how inconvenient the packaging is, and I agree. The product keeps leaking when you try to pour it, making the bottle slippery. I'm not sure why they chose this design... It would be better if they made the opening narrower and more pointed, or switched to a pump bottle. I deducted one star because of this issue. After applying toner and ampoule, rub about three drops between your palms and press it into your face. Follow up with a cream, and you'll find it helps with deep dryness without leaving your skin excessively shiny! - to*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
Originally, I didn't know my skin type and just used toner, lotion, and sunscreen, but my skin was fine. Then I bought some oil and ended up going to a dermatologist, finding out I had combination skin. I joined Hwahae for no reason and got points for my first review too. I didn't even think about what to write in the review, I just rushed over here. At Hwahae, it was ranked #1, and it said it was 100% Hwahae Testers oil, so I bought it and used it in the evening. The next day, from lunchtime, I had severe folliculitis on my cheeks and chin. This is a photo I took at lunchtime, but it got even worse the next day. When viewed from the front, my chin became bumpy. The folliculitis became red and swollen, and it was so painful that I thought I was going to die. Before that, I was undergoing treatment for acne scars at a dermatologist, and when the doctor saw me, they suddenly asked what happened, saying the acne scars were not the problem, and started acne treatment, changing the care program. As a result, the number of scar treatments was reduced, and I wasted money, and my skin was ruined. It seems that even if I apply the oil from my face, my skin will not be so severely messed up. This is the worst oil of my life, turning thirty tomorrow. Do not purchase. - fr*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2025
The biggest merit seems to be that it's 100% pure jojoba oil. I have extremely dry skin, and honestly, it doesn't absorb quickly. However, the fact that you can massage it in for a long time could be seen as an advantage. It didn't absorb quickly. And for my extremely dry skin, jojoba oil alone wasn't quite satisfying. Maybe it's because it's spring and my skin is even drier? Looking at other reviews, many people mix it with cream. I might try that to see if it makes a difference! It takes some time to be absorbed by the body. I used a ceramic massage bar for acupressure while waiting for it to absorb, turning it into a healing time. This made the time fly by and I ended up giving myself a more thorough massage as a result.
