It effectively removes heavy makeup (eyes, lips, etc.) when applied to a cotton pad and gently wiped across the skin. There's a slight tingling sensation in the eyes, and being a makeup remover, it's a bit too rich in oils for my liking. Shake well and use sparingly by applying a small amount to a cotton pad.
