1. Brand Makeup Remover After consistently using budget-friendly makeup removers, I realized I don't wear eye makeup often, and a single bottle lasts a long time. So, I decided to splurge on a luxury makeup remover despite its higher price-per-volume. The exterior packaging exudes elegance and sophistication. 2. No Eye Irritation One of the most fundamental yet crucial aspects of a makeup remover is that it doesn't irritate the eyes, and this one passes that test with flying colors. 3. Effective Even with Regular Tissues When I ran out of cotton pads, I found that it still works well with regular tissues for removing eye makeup. 1. Excessive Volume Makes Usage Feel Drawn Out The large volume makes it tedious to finish. It took about two years to empty one bottle, and I ended up using it well past its expiration date. 2. Expensive Compared to Volume The price is significantly higher compared to other makeup removers. 3. Lacks Standout Features Compared to Other Removers While it's adequate for use, other makeup removers seem to be more effective at removing makeup and are more affordable. I probably won't repurchase it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2023
It effectively removes heavy makeup (eyes, lips, etc.) when applied to a cotton pad and gently wiped across the skin. There's a slight tingling sensation in the eyes, and being a makeup remover, it's a bit too rich in oils for my liking. Shake well and use sparingly by applying a small amount to a cotton pad. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2022
I love how it removes makeup gently without feeling oily. There's no particular scent, and I didn't experience any irritation. I have no complaints except for the price. The packaging is convenient too. Although it's expensive, I'm willing to repurchase. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 12, 2020
As someone who's worn contacts for ages and has super sensitive eyes, I've been using this product for a long time. It removes eye makeup effectively without causing any tingling sensation, which is perfect for my delicate eyes. The container is inconvenient to use as you have to press it open each time. The wide opening also dispenses too much product, leading to waste. A handy tip: transfer some of the product into a small medicine bottle from the pharmacy (like the ones used for baby medications). Shake it and dispense onto a cotton swab or reusable cotton pad. This method is convenient, minimizes waste, makes the product last about three times longer, and is perfect for travel. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2020
As someone who's not particularly skilled at writing reviews, I'll do my best! I'm a regular user of cleansing waters, and this one is quite impressive. What I love about this makeup remover is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after use. The product has two separate layers - oil and remover - and I think it's the oil that prevents that uncomfortable tightness. My usual makeup routine includes eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara, which can be tricky to remove, but this product takes it all off effortlessly! I don't typically wear face makeup, so I can't speak to how well it removes foundation, but given how effectively it removes mascara, I imagine it would work well on face makeup too (just my opinion though). Another plus is the wide opening of the bottle, which allows you to use a cotton swab if needed (though this might not be the most hygienic method). As I mentioned in the positives, the product has two separate layers. This can sometimes leave your skin feeling a bit greasy, so you might need to follow up with a cleansing foam, which can be a bit of a hassle. Also, it occasionally struggles with removing glitter applied close to the lash line, but you can usually tackle this with a gentle swipe of a cotton swab. Lastly, the price point is quite high, which is definitely a drawback. One great feature is the push-to-open cap design. This makes it perfect for travel as you don't have to worry about any leaks in your luggage! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2020
I have dry skin and don't usually wear heavy makeup, but this is the remover that gives me the cleanest feeling! Many removers leave an oily residue even after using a cleansing foam, but this one leaves only the slightest trace behind. It really works hard to remove everything effectively. The only downside is the price. It's a bit expensive, which makes me hesitant to use it liberally. I'm afraid I'll run out too quickly! - mi********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2019
Especially Bobbi Brown's eyeliners all come off easily. I think this is the best one I've tried so far. I'm using a different product now, but I should definitely switch back to this one. The opening is wide, so you need to control the amount carefully to avoid it flooding out. It's quite pricey, unfortunately. - da********Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 26, 2019
I've been using this product since I bought it at duty-free in July this year! It's gentle on the skin - My skin usually turns red and stings easily, but this product is surprisingly gentle. Even if it gets in my eyes, there's minimal irritation! It removes makeup effectively! - This is the gentlest makeup remover I've ever used. While I don't wear heavy makeup, it does an excellent job of removing residue from around my eyes, lips, and in fine lines. It's not too oily - Often, makeup removers leave my skin feeling overly greasy, which I dislike. This one doesn't leave an excessively oily feeling, which is great. If I had to pick something, maybe the wicked price?! - Although I got it cheaper at duty-free, when I look to repurchase it, the price is... I just can't buy it at full price. Also, if I had to mention another thing, the lid... it's hard to open and difficult to control the amount - The lid needs to be pressed down and turned, which can be tricky when you're in a hurry. It sometimes spins without opening, which is inconvenient. And when it does open, it's hard to control how much product comes out. I apply a certain amount to a cotton pad and use it to clean between my eyes and nose, around my lips, areas where I've applied concealer, and any missed spots along my jawline or hairline. For eyeshadow, which can be stubborn, I lightly dampen a cotton swab and gently swipe it across the eyelid. - ba****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2019
It removes makeup thoroughly and effectively. (There's a slight tingling sensation on the eyelids, but this is common with all eye makeup removers. This product actually causes less irritation compared to others, so I didn't include it as a drawback.) It's not particularly outstanding compared to other products. Considering the price, it's not really worth it... - su*****Combination SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2018
Cleansing effectiveness is top-notch. Already on my third bottle. Zero stickiness. Less irritating to the eyes. Light as water. Needs shaking, but you get used to it quickly. The cap requires pressing and turning, which is a bit inconvenient, so I transfer some to a smaller container. For best results, place cotton pads under your eyebrows and gently wipe with a cotton swab dipped in the liquid.
