The color payoff is not too intense, giving a subtle and lovely finish! Even those less skilled at makeup application can use it easily. The staying power is also quite good! Those who prefer more vibrant color might find the pigmentation a bit underwhelming. However, I found it perfectly suitable for my needs! - po*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2020
It's a slightly saturated salmon pink color that looks absolutely gorgeous when used as a blush! Although it's marketed as an eyeshadow, the quality is so versatile that it works beautifully as a blush too. I love it! There's honestly nothing to dislike about this product. It's such a shame that it's been discontinued! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
It's a vibrant shade between pink and coral. When applied to the eyes, it can create a stunning accent, and it's absolutely gorgeous as a blush too. It's a shame this product has been discontinued. The new version has a smaller quantity, which might make it difficult to use as a blush. - th*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
It's a truly honest salmon pink shade. The Amelie eyeshadow really lives up to its name with its perfect color match. The eyeshadow case is too large, making it a bit cumbersome to store. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2020
The product I use is a two-cut matte eyeshadow with yogurt and salmon pink shades. The salmon pink is truly gorgeous, giving an incredibly soft, milky look. You can use them separately, apply the base shadow broadly, or use it as an accent! There's a bit of excess powder, but it's so pretty I don't even mind! If you love matte shadows and want that soft, peachy look, I highly, highly recommend this. It really applies as a beautifully clear pink color! I'm using a discontinued shade, so while the exact same product isn't available, you can find similar colors in the newly relaunched Amelie line. The downside is that it's not available as a two-cut palette anymore, so you have to buy the shades individually... (It's a bit pricey, which is unfortunate, but still so pretty) When you use it with Amelie's yogurt shade, you'll get an incredibly soft, peachy look that's to die for! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 8, 2019
First off, this product comes in a beast-sized volume! It lasts forever, seemingly never-ending. I've had this for over 5 years and there's still plenty left... While that's slightly concerning, I'm still using it without any issues. The case is incredibly sturdy too. Even if you drop it, it rarely breaks. I've always carried it in my makeup pouch when going out, and it's still in perfect condition. This shadow is from Ameli's Step Basic line, which has no shimmer at all. Despite its name 'Salmon Pink', it's not salmon-colored at all. It's more of a coral pink with a slight yellow undertone! I initially bought this to use on my aegyo-sal (under-eye area). I've never actually used it on my eyelids. For a delicate, ethereal makeup look, I dab some chunky diamond dust glitter on my aegyo-sal, then lightly apply this product towards the front. This is my go-to look. Personally, I find colored glitters less sparkly, so I prefer to use silver-toned glitter for impact, then finish with this product. The result is a sparkly yet natural-looking aegyo-sal! I'm devastated that Ameli is going out of business! This brand introduced me to makeup when I was 20, and now I can't buy it anymore even if I want to. Of course, given its massive size, I'll be able to use it for a long time, but the fact that Ameli is disappearing is heartbreaking. Also, because of its large size, it's likely to exceed its expiration date. I never paid much attention to eyeshadow expiration dates before, but apparently, it can significantly affect your eyes. So, I would have recommended buying smaller portions or sharing with others, but... well, it's discontinued now. Like most pink eyeshadows, if you apply it alone on your eyelids, it can make your eyes look puffy! To maximize its benefits, you need to combine it with proper shading and glitter. When applying it to the aegyo-sal, I found using a bullet brush works better than using my fingers! - an*****Dry SkinMay 23, 2017
It's beautiful when applied lightly as a base eyeshadow and then using the reddish-brown shade as a point color. The amount is so generous, I feel like I could use it for a lifetime and still not finish it. Since it doubles as a blush, it gives a lovely radiant glow to the face. At first, I bought a duo split pan at a cafe, but it broke. So I repurchased a single shade, but now I have way too much of one color. I'll have to work hard using it as a blush to finish it all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 18, 2016
I was totally obsessed with peach-toned eyeshadows when I bought this, but honestly, I've been using it more as a blush than an eyeshadow...! Haha! Since it's versatile for both purposes, I find myself using this color a lot, even though it comes in a large quantity. When applied to the cheeks, it gives a healthy glow, and on the eyes, it looks pretty as long as you control the amount well~ The pigmentation is so intense that, even though it's meant to double as a blush, you really need to be careful with application. You should use a brush, tap off the excess, and then blend it out on your hand before applying to avoid looking like you have super flushed cheeks... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinOct 17, 2015
The color is really beautiful.. I use it as a blush and it has a slight fluorescent glow which is totally my style I can also use it as an eyeshadow and it's amazing ㅠㅠㅜㅠㅠㅠ I use it as a daily makeup item If you don't like the fluorescent glow and want a lower chroma color, I don't recommend this It's not too intense, but it's a bit lively and cute color with slightly higher chroma But it's a color that can go well with almost anything. If you usually only use dull colors, this could be great for a image transformation I use it a lot as a blush and it really gives me a healthy glow - je*****Combination SkinJan 8, 2015
The eyeshadow is a bit pricey, but the quantity is quite generous. I've been using it not only for eyeshadow but also as a blush, and it's not too much, making it perfect for daily use! I was expecting a softer color payoff, but it seems to be a bit darker than I anticipated, which is a bit disappointing. Although it's an eyeshadow, you can also use it as a blush. When using it as an eyeshadow, apply a base color like white or ivory first, and then lightly brush it on with a brush for better color expression.
