I've been using this product since my skin became extremely dry after giving birth. Even when I only apply this cream after toner, it's incredibly moisturizing and has a lovely scent. The hydration lasts for a long time too. The only downside is the price, which is a bit steep. It would be great if it were just a little more affordable. When I layer toner, aromatherapy oil, and then this cream, the hydration lasts even longer and feels amazing. - dm*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 2, 2021
When I first used it, it absorbed quickly without leaving any residue, so I bought a large size through direct purchase and used it well. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I really hate products that sit on top of the skin. It's been a long time since I found a cream that absorbs well without causing deep dryness, so I thought this cream was a great match for me. I thought it was so good, but when I apply makeup after using this, my skin gets way too oily. (Even in summer, when I pat it down with loose powder, the oil still comes through... which might be expected). At first, I thought it suited my skin well, but at some point, I started breaking out. However, since I switched all my products to this Darphin line at once due to my desire for anti-aging benefits, I'm not sure which product was the problem. After I stopped using it, my skin got better. It's such a shame because it's an expensive product, and I'm so disappointed. For those who find it works well, I think it would be good to buy a large size through direct purchase. I noticed it's also available in a tube type (which might be more hygienic than the jar type). - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2021
Unlike other products that just sit on the skin, Darphin absorbs beautifully no matter how much you apply. I've tried all the high-end brands like La Prairie and La Mer, but nothing compares to this... The quantity is quite small compared to the price... I wish they'd increase the amount - co*******Combination SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2020
I picked this up at a pharmacy during my trip to France last November. It's one of those rare products where I actually felt my skin improving. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I initially experienced some pilling if I applied too much (though that's no longer an issue - it might have been due to incompatible products in my routine back then). Even when I used just a small amount as the final step in my skincare, I still noticed positive results and was very satisfied. It seems to work hard on improving skin texture and elasticity. My complexion definitely looks better the morning after I use it. Once I finish this bottle, I'm planning to repurchase it online from overseas. Be careful not to apply too much, or if you layer oil on top of it incorrectly, as it can lead to pilling. If you're going to use it in the morning, stick to a small amount. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2019
When I apply it before bed, my skin feels incredibly smooth and hydrated in the morning. It's absolutely fantastic! The biggest drawback is that the price point is quite high, which can be a bit burdensome. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 3, 2019
Though pricey, it's relatively affordable when bought in Europe. I apply it at night, but being extremely dry-skinned, I still feel a bit parched in the morning. I'm not sure if it's dramatically effective, so I don't plan to repurchase. It leaves my skin feeling somewhat dry. My hair tends to stick to my face when using this. The price is wicked high, but it's worth considering if you can buy it locally in Europe. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2019
This was my holy grail! When you apply it, it feels really tight, but that's the lifting effect they talk about. They say not to layer moisturizer on top, so I didn't, and my skin definitely looked healthier. The price is absolutely wicked. I could only use it once and then couldn't anymore. When I stopped using it, my face looked as droopy as a bulldog's jowls. Now it feels like I can't even work or live properly anymore... I had a sample of the normal version, but that pilled off like dirt. If you're going to buy it, make sure to get the rich version only. Apparently, you can use a small amount. But even the residue on your palms should be applied all the way to the back of your neck. It's expensive! - oa***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2019
It really suited my skin well. Given its price, I used it sparingly, applying it only on nights when I was doing a special skincare routine. I treated it like a precious gem! The hydration level is a bit lacking. It's not necessarily a downside, but the texture is quite unique and hard to describe. Although it's a cream, it's far from being a moisturizing one. It's not quite a nourishing cream either, as it feels quite light. There's this oddly powdery sensation... it's puzzling! And let's not forget, the price is wickedly high. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 1, 2019
Absorbs well with a slightly sticky texture, similar to snail cream. Great for hydration. Apply before bed and wake up to plump, supple skin the next morning. Has a strong, typical cosmetic scent. The price is quite steep. Contains several unfavorable ingredients, so it's not particularly gentle on the skin. Due to its slightly sticky texture, it's best to apply about 30 minutes before bedtime for optimal absorption. - sa*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 7, 2018
This is my go-to winter cream that I absolutely adore. It has a rich texture, but when applied to the skin, it melts away seamlessly, absorbing well and creating a perfect moisture barrier. It feels like it forms a protective hydration shield on the skin. The downside? Well, of course it's the price. I can only justify buying it at duty-free shops!
