The subtle base color eyeshadow has a shimmery pearl finish, making it perfect for a delicate application on the base or aegyo sal (under-eye area)! It's absolutely lovely! I didn't buy this on its own, but as part of the Lucky Two-Cut Eyes set. It might be tricky to use alone, and Amélie eyeshadows come in such large quantities that it's hard to use up a single one. I love how the shimmer is beautifully ethereal. I've tried other brands with lots of chunky glitter, but this one looks prettier on the eyes, so I've stopped using those. The fine shimmer particles make it easy to apply without going overboard. (I've seen reviews where someone used it as a highlighter, which suggests the shimmer isn't too chunky...) Buying this alone wouldn't be practical, and it's quite pricey too... I thought the eyeshadow pan would be larger due to the high quantity, but it's not. However, there's so much product that if you bought individual eyeshadows for each shade, you probably couldn't use them all in a lifetime. For colors available in the Lucky Two-Cut set, that's fine, but it's hard to justify buying the ones that aren't included. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 5, 2015
This is a base color. It has a shimmery pearl-like finish. When swatched on the forearm, it looks absolutely gorgeous. It's not very easy to work with. The color itself is a beige shade, so it would make sense to use it as a base, but the pearlescent finish makes it quite ambiguous for a base. It's not completely absent, nor is it subtly luminous, and it's not fully glittery and sparkly either.... Most importantly, when applied on the eyelids, it doesn't look particularly pretty. 
Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 22, 2015It's a good base product that applies smoothly and evenly. The amount is generous and I'm satisfied! Hmm, the case is a bit large? If you carry a lot of things in your pouch, it could be inconvenient. When other eyeshadow colors are too bold, applying this on top helps to tone them down. It nicely neutralizes the color, which is great :)
