I applied it right after cleansing, before my toner. Then I patted on my toner, followed by emulsion and sunscreen. I tried changing the order and it still worked fine. However, I wouldn't recommend using it after sunscreen. (Important) If you don't let it dry completely or apply makeup immediately after, it can pill. I suggest not using it when applying foundation makeup (e.g. liquid foundation, cushion).

As a man in my late 20s, I've always struggled with blemishes around my mouth after using any aftershave. Deciding it was time to take better care of my skin, I invested in this rich product along with a new razor. While a clean razor is crucial for a good shave (I found manual razors easier to maintain than electric ones), let's focus on the skincare here. Since using the Lab Series product, I haven't had a single blemish. On rare occasions when I feel a slight redness coming on, by the next morning, there's no trace of it. It's a stark contrast to the frequent, unsightly irritation I used to experience.

While it performs better than LaserBurn Relief, I'm disappointed by the smaller quantity. The hydration power is lower than LaserBurn Relief, so don't use it in fall or winter. I couldn't feel any effects on preventing ingrown hairs or slowing down beard growth - these features were completely unnoticeable.

I have dry and sensitive skin. In my opinion, this product is even better than LaserBurn Relief for soothing and disinfecting the skin (100% my subjective view). It was really great to use in summer because it's not sticky at all.

Keep it in the bathroom and apply immediately after shaving

It absorbs well, so when applying, just squeeze out a pea-sized amount onto your finger and it will be quickly absorbed. I shave in the morning, so I apply it once after shaving and once in the evening after washing my face before bed. Using it this way seems to be giving me good results.

It's expensive. However, a pea-sized amount is enough to cover the chin and neck, so it lasts about six months. The downside is that from the very first use until it's finished, it solidifies and turns white around the opening, which is quite bothersome.

As someone with extremely sensitive, oily skin, most men's products irritate and redden my face. I've been sticking to gentle women's products until I discovered Lab Series. Since it's a shaving product, there wasn't a women's version available. I had no choice but to try various options, and Lab Series was the only one that didn't cause irritation. When applied to the reddened neck and chin area after shaving, it stings briefly due to the cuts, but soon the redness noticeably subsides and the skin calms down.

As you use it, a white crusty residue forms around the cap opening, as shown in the photo. This is more bothersome than I expected.

After researching various products online, I switched to this post-shave care product last year. I've been using it for a year now without any blemishes or issues. Notably, it eliminated the bumpy pores that used to appear when my beard was growing in.
