Considering the price, the amount you get is disappointingly small... I applied it right after cleansing, before my toner. Then I patted on my toner, followed by emulsion and sunscreen. I tried changing the order and it still worked fine. However, I wouldn't recommend using it after sunscreen. (Important) If you don't let it dry completely or apply makeup immediately after, it can pill. After shaving, my skin used to turn red and feel tingly, but since using this product, those issues have vanished like magic. My beard grows more slowly, and with continued use, the hair thickness has reduced, making shaving progressively easier. The quantity is too small compared to the price. As a man in my late 20s, I've always struggled with blemishes around my mouth after using any aftershave. Deciding it was time to take better care of my skin, I invested in this rich product along with a new razor. While a clean razor is crucial for a good shave (I found manual razors easier to maintain than electric ones), let's focus on the skincare here. Since using the Lab Series product, I haven't had a single blemish. On rare occasions when I feel a slight redness coming on, by the next morning, there's no trace of it. It's a stark contrast to the frequent, unsightly irritation I used to experience. However, I must admit it's quite pricey. Lab Series also offers a rectangular aftershave balm (I think it's called 'Burn' something) which works just as well for me in preventing irritation. It comes in a larger size and is more affordable. I have dry and sensitive skin. In my opinion, this product is even better than LaserBurn Relief for soothing and disinfecting the skin (100% my subjective view). It was really great to use in summer because it's not sticky at all. While it performs better than LaserBurn Relief, I'm disappointed by the smaller quantity. The hydration power is lower than LaserBurn Relief, so don't use it in fall or winter. I couldn't feel any effects on preventing ingrown hairs or slowing down beard growth - these features were completely unnoticeable. As someone with dry skin, I used to experience intense stinging after shaving, but this product has significantly improved that issue While it's on the pricier side, the quantity is quite small. I went to Lab Series and asked for a recommendation for shaving blemishes, and they suggested this product. I started using this because of shaving-related skin issues... To be honest, I can't really tell the difference. Maybe it's just me... I applied it every time I shaved, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, unfortunately. I bought this based on recommendations from friends, and it's been a game-changer. Before using this, I always had blemishes around my mouth after shaving, and my skin never seemed to calm down. But since I started using this, I haven't had any breakouts, my redness subsides quickly, and I feel like my beard is getting easier to shave. I'm definitely going to keep buying and using this product. Now when I apply it, I don't feel anything unusual, but when I first bought it and used it, my skin suddenly felt like it was on fire - a burning sensation that eventually subsided. After using it for about two days, this reaction stopped happening... It absorbs well, so when applying, just squeeze out a pea-sized amount onto your finger and it will be quickly absorbed. I shave in the morning, so I apply it once after shaving and once in the evening after washing my face before bed. Using it this way seems to be giving me good results.
