I've tried many Clarins products, but this was the best one. I've been using this product for 3 years, and I continue to use it even after the reformulation. I only apply the essence, and it doesn't feel sticky or tight, but stays moisturized. It doesn't get oily, and the moisture level is good, but you do need to shake it before use.
Cons
Before the reformulation, it applied smoothly, but after the reformulation, it feels a bit slushy when applying, so sensitive skin types may feel a slight scratching sensation.
Tip
This is a lightweight type, so it's good to use it only during the day in the winter, after thoroughly moisturizing at night. In the summer, you can use it consistently day and night.

As the seasons transition into fall, I always start using this essence when I feel my skin becoming slightly dry. I've been using it for almost 10 years, taking a break only during the summer, and I can feel my skin deeply hydrated after just one application. I've dealt with adult acne for a long time, and while this product does contain some oil, it doesn't exacerbate my breakouts. In fact, when my skin feels dry, my acne tends to flare up more, so I make sure to use this product during the drier seasons. This product lets you know that controlling dehydration is like this!! The finish is clean, the inner skin becomes comfortable, and the fragrance is also good.

This serum is suitable for dry skin. It doesn't cause any trouble, and if you apply the serum and finish with a cream, you can get through the winter without any tightness!

It's a hassle to have to shake it and the pumping is a bit disappointing... The price-to-volume ratio seems too small.

It resolves the tightness! I've tried a lot of moisturizing essences and creams as my skin is extremely dry, and most of them make my skin immediately hydrated and glowy, but the tightness is not resolved. However, this product gets absorbed into the skin right away and replenishes the lacking moisture and oil. It may seem less hydrating than other products at first glance, but ultimately, my skin feels more comfortable.
Cons
Due to the fast absorption, the finish is a bit powdery. Personally, I like a more emollient finish at night, so the powdery texture can be a bit disappointing at times.
Tip
To compensate for the powdery finish, I sometimes apply an oil product on top.
