- Excellent hydration for dehydrated skin, moisturizing effect lasts until afternoon, and this serum eliminates deep dryness - The fragrance is truly delightful - After about 3 days of use, dead skin cells caused by dehydration are reduced and the feeling of tightness diminishes - The quantity is small compared to the price. While 30ml is standard for serums, as someone with dry and very dehydrated skin, I use two pumps each time, so it runs out quickly (I'll try the 50ml version next) - As I have sensitive eyes, the oil-based serum causes some irritation when it comes into contact with them - Since the oil and water layers are separated, make sure to shake well before use - In a hurry? Mix it with your moisturizer to maintain hydration - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2020
[Hydration] It's wonderfully moisturizing, which I love. The hydration is truly excellent - you get what you pay for with this one! [Scent] The fragrance is a subtle, cosmetic-like scent. It's not overly artificial, which I found quite pleasant. (You can definitely tell it's a high-end product!) [Texture] It's a combination of oil and a hydrating serum-like texture. You need to shake it before use! [Price] The price is extremely high, which is a real drawback. Even though I received it as a gift, 78,000 won is truly excessive. [Skin Type] As someone with oily skin, it feels refreshingly moisturizing, but I think it would be more suitable for those with dry skin. It's definitely a bit much for oily skin types. [Dispensing] Controlling the amount dispensed is challenging. One pump barely releases any product, two pumps still isn't enough, but three pumps is too much... I constantly struggle with dispensing the right amount, which feels wasteful when I have to apply the excess elsewhere. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2020
As someone with dry skin, I loved how the moisturizing effect lasted for a long time. The fragrance is also quite pleasant. While it's not extremely expensive, the product volume isn't particularly generous. It feels like it runs out rather quickly. - li*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 5, 2019
I tried this because my skin became so dry during pregnancy. I was worried because it's as thin as water, but it really made my skin feel moisturized and refined. After applying this, followed by a light layer of cream and oil before bed, I noticed my skin wasn't particularly dry the next morning. However, just to be safe, I checked the ingredients... Why do effective department store and spa brands often have questionable ingredients? My skin is dry and sensitive, and I'm concerned about aging, but there's hardly anything I can use. This and Phytomer work well, so I plan to use them after I finish breastfeeding. But I probably won't repurchase until the harmful ingredients are removed. If you're not pregnant or breastfeeding, and don't mind a few potentially harsh chemical ingredients, this might be worth trying. My skin used to be thin and combination dehydrated, but as I've aged, it's become more sensitive and dry. When my skin is dry and my immunity is low, I get small bumps, and aging has enlarged my pores. This product seems to help with these issues. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2019
The absorbs well is excellent. Even as a man, it gives a natural Inner Glow look. My routine: sebum-controlling skin toner, quench essence, then sunscreen or BB cream. I finish with a light dusting of oil-control powder. Since it contains oil, just a tiny drop is enough! It's a water and oil blend. Achieves a luxurious yet natural appearance. Don't apply too much! Those with oily skin should be cautious of shine developing over time. The price is on the higher side. Just a tiny drop on your palm! If you need more, add another small drop. Gently spread it over your face and you're done. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2019
I first tried this in my 20s and loved how it made my skin feel moisturized and brightened my complexion. I recently bought it again duty-free. The first few applications seemed as hydrating as I remembered. However, now in my 30s, my skin has become thinner and more sensitive. Using it again, I noticed my skin turning red and actually feeling drier. While air pollution has made my skin more sensitive, I also checked on Hwahae and found many ingredients that don't suit me. In my case, phenoxyethanol seems to be the culprit. I thought it was just a common preservative, but my skin can't tolerate it. Seeing its high position on the ingredient list suggests it's used in a significant amount. Keep this in mind when considering this product. - po******Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2019
I've been using this product consistently for years. It's my go-to basic skincare item year-round, regardless of the season. It seems to work wonders for balancing my skin's oil and moisture levels. Occasionally, I've encountered products with faulty pumps, so I make sure to check them at the department store before purchasing. I adjust the amount based on the weather - a little in summer, more generously in winter. I'm careful not to overdo it to avoid blemishes. For reference, I have combination dehydrated skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2019
When you shake it and apply it to your skin, it absorbs with a delightful bounce. I loved how it sinks right in without leaving any irritation! Looking at the ingredient list... there are 6 potentially concerning ingredients. Please check carefully if there's anything that might not agree with your skin. I mix it generously with my toner before bed and apply it all over. It really helps calm those pesky little blemishes! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2019
Great hydration and absorbs quickly without any stickiness. The dispenser is convenient to use. Using it causes itching on the face and leads to blemishes. It's slightly irritating. It seems best to mix it with creams or other products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2018
It's hydrating yet leaves a soft, powdery finish. I think I've bought this product about four times now. I just learned it has some potentially harmful ingredients, but I've never experienced any blemishes. I loved using it the whole time and was sad when it was running out. I absolutely hate sticky products, but this one isn't sticky at all. When you touch your skin after applying, it feels so soft and smooth! I didn't buy it during summer as I use something else, but I think it's about time to get it again. This winter, it's Clarins all the way! The amount is quite small... When buying online, sometimes you get a few extra samples of the same product. I find myself only repurchasing when those offers are available.
