My first ever cushion foundation! Back when grayish BB creams were all the rage, I discovered IOPE Air Cushion and it was a game-changer! It gave such a beautiful, sheer skin-like finish without any ashy tones. The color matched perfectly, and with its high SPF, I didn't even need a separate sunscreen. While the staying power wasn't the best, I didn't mind touching up throughout the day. I used it religiously until it was discontinued, forcing me to switch to the next model. I docked a star because the amount is too little for such a high price. The low staying power means you need to reapply often, which is frustrating. At first, it dispenses easily, but soon you're struggling to get product out even though it's newly opened. I've had to flip the sponge to access leftover product, inevitably making a mess. Also, the finish is a bit sticky, so it might transfer a lot when wearing masks these days. As others have mentioned, pat it on instead of rubbing. If you're having trouble getting product out of a newly opened refill, try flipping the cushion sponge - you'll likely find plenty left inside. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2019
It's quick to apply, offers decent coverage, and has a hydrating feel that reduces dryness. The biggest issue is its stickiness, which causes hair to stick to the face, and the coverage isn't up to par. If you correct blemishes and dark spots beforehand and then apply this cushion on top, it can give you a somewhat radiant look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 31, 2018
Although I haven't used it extensively, this product left my skin feeling the least dry compared to others The stickiness is disappointing... It leaves residue on my phone screen when I answer calls - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2017
The longevity is quite good, and it seems better suited for combination or dry skin types rather than oily skin. The coverage is also quite good, which I like. The oiliness was a bit excessive. I didn't realize it at first, but after trying other products, I became aware of it. The stickiness also felt a bit too much for my personal preference. I feel like it doesn't quite live up to the price. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2017
The skin expression looks really pretty, it's very shiny (I don't like it that much), but those who like that kind of skin expression would recommend this. It looks like you've oiled your face, it's so shiny haha And it's extremely sticky.. I'm really curious how people used it haha haha If you just want to do skin makeup, it's good, but if you want to do color makeup, it's too sticky and you can't do it ;;; The powder treatment doesn't work either.. It's so thick that you wonder how people use this and still do color makeup haha + It's itchy and when you scratch it, even if you applied it thinly, the foundation comes off a lot on your nails and leaves nail marks on your face haha Just garbage - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2017
The coverage is excellent and it's moisturizing. As it's a popular cushion foundation, no further explanation is needed. Even though my skin is dry in the winter and combination in the summer, it still felt too sticky. The advertisement claims that it doesn't stick to tissues and isn't sticky, but it was sticky and became increasingly shiny over time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 13, 2017
It's not bad, the coverage is also good for a cushion, and I think it's quite moisturizing. There is a slightly sticky feeling, and it's difficult to control the amount, so over time it can sometimes feel like it's applied too thickly. If you lightly cover blemishes with a concealer and then use a small amount of the cushion, it's not bad. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2017
Everyone seems to have a bad review, but I've tried a lot of products like Banila Co. and Etude House, and this is the one that fits me best, so I've repurchased it more than five times. When I apply this product, people constantly tell me that my skin looks glowing and healthy, even though I have very dry skin. When I use a moisturizer and then this product, there's not a single dry patch! (Other products would still leave me with dry areas even after applying them.) The makeup also lasts around 12 hours before I need to touch up a couple of spots. This is truly a holy grail product among cushions! The only way to get it is online, which was a bit inconvenient for me, and it's absolutely not suitable to use in the summer as it gets very sticky. This product seems to be more suitable for those with dry skin rather than oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2017
I recommend this for normal to combination skin types, excluding sensitive or problematic skin! (Especially good for combination and neutral skin) Dry skin types may want to pay extra attention to their skincare routine when using this. 1. For fair 21 skin tones, this will give a bright, radiant complexion. It won't make you look like a floating egg ghost, just a naturally luminous glow. No ashy tones, just the right amount of yellow undertone! Those with 23 skin tone may find this a bit brightening. 2. It seems to have a high essence content, which makes it very moisturizing and adheres well to the skin. Personally, I found this more hydrating than the Geum Mi Pact. 3. It applies thinly but still gives a beautiful skin-like finish. Even as the oil comes through over time, it doesn't break down messily, but blends naturally with the cushion for a nice glow. 4. I didn't experience any noticeable darkening. 5. The moderate hydration makes it easy to touch up without caking or shifting. Initial Correction: 1. At first I thought it was an issue with the organic sunscreen, but I'm able to use other sunscreens and cushions with the same organic sunscreen without problems. It seems my skin reacted to the niacinamide and adenosine in this product. For those without issues with those ingredients, it should be fine to use. 2. In the summer, this may feel slightly tacky. 1. With cushion products, it's best to start with a small amount on the applicator puff and lightly apply all over the face, then build up coverage in areas that need it more. 2. For a flawless finish, use a liquid concealer. 3. Finishing with a sebum-control powder in the summer can help keep a matte, long-lasting look. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 28, 2016
It's moisturizing and comfortable. I used to use foundation, but now I only use this. The coverage is good, the staying power is good, and the puff applies it so well without any clumping. These days, there are so many cushion products, but nothing beats the air cushion. Those with oily skin absolutely cannot just use this alone and go outside. It gets shiny and sticky, so you have to finish it off with a powder or sebum-controlling powder.
