As someone who often gets blemishes from cushion products, I've never experienced any skin issues with this one! It also causes less pilling when it breaks down, so I've used it frequently. The high SPF made it convenient to use when I was too lazy to apply sunscreen separately. Compared to newer cushions on the market, its coverage isn't particularly strong. The glow might be a bit much for those with oily skin. While the regular price is high, I managed to buy it at a discount on a home shopping channel. - su********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 17, 2020
My first ever cushion foundation! Back when grayish BB creams were all the rage, I discovered IOPE Air Cushion and it was a game-changer! It gave such a beautiful, sheer skin-like finish without any ashy tones. The color matched perfectly, and with its high SPF, I didn't even need a separate sunscreen. While the staying power wasn't the best, I didn't mind touching up throughout the day. I used it religiously until it was discontinued, forcing me to switch to the next model. I docked a star because the amount is too little for such a high price. The low staying power means you need to reapply often, which is frustrating. At first, it dispenses easily, but soon you're struggling to get product out even though it's newly opened. I've had to flip the sponge to access leftover product, inevitably making a mess. Also, the finish is a bit sticky, so it might transfer a lot when wearing masks these days. As others have mentioned, pat it on instead of rubbing. If you're having trouble getting product out of a newly opened refill, try flipping the cushion sponge - you'll likely find plenty left inside. - i7***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2019
I'm at a loss for words because there wasn't anything particularly good to mention... The scent is overwhelmingly strong, and it caused an insane amount of blemishes. I'm not sure about the coverage, to be honest. About 10 minutes after application, it became unbearably itchy. When I removed it, my skin turned red and broke out. Oh boy... I'd recommend trying a different product instead. - le*********Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2019
As someone with extremely dry skin, I was impressed that it didn't leave a cakey finish. However, after some time, my skin did get a bit oily, so I had to apply some oil-control powder. The scent is so off-putting that I can't bring myself to use it. The fragrance is truly awful, I really dislike it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 17, 2019
This cushion is exclusively designed for dry skin types. It's incredibly hydrating. The coverage is just average. As someone with oily skin, I experienced significant breakdown due to excess oil. I had to constantly pat my face with translucent powder, which led to caking. As a fan of semi-matte finishes, I didn't appreciate how this cushion made my hair stick to my face. I used it a few times before abandoning it. It feels overpriced for its performance. However, those with extremely dry skin might love it. - mi*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2019
I've personally used this product more than three times, and it's been that good. It doesn't make my skin look greasy, and it has great coverage. However, I think my skin might have changed recently. If you have a very dark complexion, using this product might make your skin appear to have a floating or mask-like effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2019
The coverage was better than I expected, and it adhered to my skin decently. It applies smoothly, leaving a nice moisturized feel. Compared to the Kyun Miri compact or other products, I felt like there was a bit less product in this one. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2019
Overall, I've tried various cushions, and this one in shade 21 seemed to match my skin tone the best. I was quite satisfied with it. Firstly, even with my slightly darker complexion, it didn't look overly made-up. It brightened my skin without appearing unnatural or too flashy. Secondly, the puff adheres well to the skin, making it easy to use. It picks up the cushion formula nicely and helps it absorb into the skin effectively, which I really appreciated. Lastly, the staying power was decent. It only seemed to wear off when I felt it was time for a touch-up. Fortunately, I found myself needing to reapply less often compared to eye or lip makeup, which was a definite plus. As an IOPE product, it comes with a hefty price tag. Considering the amount of product you get, it feels a bit expensive. It's definitely more cost-effective to buy one cushion and stock up on refills. Those with sensitive skin like mine should use it cautiously. As expected, I always experienced blemishes the day after wearing makeup. Keep that in mind! If you have sensitive skin, make sure to apply essence or emulsion before using the cushion! This not only helps with removal later but also puts less stress on your skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2019
It's quick to apply, offers decent coverage, and has a hydrating feel that reduces dryness. The biggest issue is its stickiness, which causes hair to stick to the face, and the coverage isn't up to par. If you correct blemishes and dark spots beforehand and then apply this cushion on top, it can give you a somewhat radiant look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2019
My skin gets extremely dry in winter, so I tried this on a friend's recommendation. I'm so satisfied with how hydrating it is! I'd highly recommend this to other dry-skinned individuals in their middle years. Compared to other products, the coverage seems a bit lacking. If you have a lot of blemishes, you might need to use a concealer along with this. It's so moisturizing that you don't need to be too meticulous with your skincare routine. Even when I'm in a rush and only apply toner and emulsion, I don't experience any deep dryness.
