There's a subtle shimmer that's not overwhelming and looks pretty. The texture is smooth while drawing the line and before it dries, which I loved! I thought the product inside might dry out quickly and become unusable, but surprisingly, it doesn't harden - maybe because of the thick cap. That's a plus! It's challenging to use when you're in a hurry. The liner dries and sets immediately after drawing, so if you make a mistake, it's nearly impossible to remove by rubbing, which can irritate your skin. You have to completely remove it with a cotton swab and makeup remover, then start over from scratch. It's not easy to make corrections, so it might be difficult for those who aren't skilled at drawing eyeliner. For a more intense and beautiful line, try roughly sketching the shape with a pen liner first, then go over it with this product to enhance the line.
