My husband brought this home, saying it was recommended by the dermatology clinic he goes to. I've recently started wearing makeup again after not being able to during the pandemic. It's a first-step cleanser that's supposed to strengthen the skin barrier. A second cleanse is necessary. Using this alone feels a bit heavy for my oily skin. Use a gel or foam cleanser after this milky one! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2018
I highly recommend this for sensitive, dry skin and those with a compromised skin barrier! When my skin barrier was damaged and I was struggling with redness, I used only this product for cleansing. It not only brightened my complexion but also improved my skin texture! For about two weeks of using this product alone for cleansing, my skin was really great. However, since I have oily skin, after those two weeks, my face became too greasy and I kept getting red blemishes. So now I use a separate second cleanser. If you have oily skin, absolutely do not use this as your only cleanser! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 14, 2017
It's gentle and nice. I think it would be great for those who need a mild cleanser, especially if you have sensitive skin or atopic dermatitis like me. It might be too weak for removing heavy makeup, so it may not be suitable for those who wear a lot of cosmetics. Since it's so gentle, it's best for light cleansing. As someone with atopic skin that's always prone to sensitivity, I think this would be perfect for those with super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 19, 2016
Being a cleansing milk type, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry after washing The price is... a bit steep, but I'm still satisfied with it - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 3, 2016
For those with super sensitive skin or seborrheic dermatitis who only use sunscreen, I absolutely recommend this! It's incredibly gentle. Of course, skincare is personal, but for me, it's truly an excellent cleanser. Well... I suppose the price might be an issue? Still, I think it's better than having a bad reaction. Just... go ahead and use it. - st******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMay 18, 2016
I have been using the DMS Basic Cream Classic mixed with ampoules for about 3 years, and I have tried the cleansing gel, but this is the first time I've purchased the cleansing milk. I was using another cleansing milk before, but it was too oily and caused sensitive skin reactions and irritation. I switched to the DMS cream, and it's a gentle product that doesn't cause any trouble. Even with my very sensitive skin that has redness and itchiness, the cream is moisturizing after cleansing, and the redness is soothed. Since I only use sunscreen on my sensitive skin, I don't need a second cleansing step. The DMS products are so gentle that it takes time to see improvements, but there is no major downside as they don't cause any breakouts. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 17, 2016
Since it's milk-based, it's much softer and less irritating, making it great for sensitive skin. Even after cleansing, your skin will feel moisturized like you've applied lotion. Everything else is good, but the price is quite burdensome. Those who wear heavy makeup may also feel a slight residue after cleansing. I'd recommend this for those who wear light makeup.
