I bought this in a rush to use alongside my stretch mark cream during late pregnancy, but it's not safe for the baby.
ConsIf you're planning to use this on your baby, please don't buy it! I applied it to my 100-day-old baby girl's dry skin, and it caused a severe rash on her neck with oozing and white flaky patches. I feel terrible now. Please, always check the ingredients carefully before purchasing!

Don't use it!
ConsAbsolutely do not buy this product. I purchased it on sale at Olive Young and applied it after every shower, which resulted in severe red spots and rashes all over my body. This is the first time I've experienced such a bad reaction from using cosmetics or body products. Out of curiosity, I searched online and found many recent articles about people having adverse reactions to other Johnson's products and baby oil this year as well. It seems the company remains unresponsive even when victims file complaints. After reading the list of ingredients to be cautious about, I suspect the fragrance might be the cause of the rashes.

It's budget-friendly.
ConsI've been using this product for a long time, but it caused petechiae on my skin. I found out it's a common issue in Japan too when I searched online. It suddenly appeared for me, so I'm stopping use now. Honestly, with such severe reactions, I don't think they can claim it's suitable for all skin types.

After using this, I got red rashes all over my body and my skin completely flared up.
ConsAfter using this, I got red rashes all over my body. My skin is blotchy, itchy, and covered in rashes. It doesn't even deserve half a star. Absolutely terrible.

Among oils, it's affordable and has a pleasant baby scent. I loved applying it to damp skin after showering - it felt like the oil, combined with the moisture, really enveloped my skin nicely.
ConsI think this product isn't good for children at all. After using it, my child developed an allergic reaction similar to psoriasis all over their stomach and back. I've heard that several other children in our circle experienced the same symptoms. I definitely don't recommend this for newborns.

I suppose its famous brand name?
ConsIt was during elementary or middle school when my skin (except for my face) was extremely dry. At that time, I thought Johnson's was the go-to brand for body oil, so I applied it after showering. Oh my... In less than 10 minutes, my entire body broke out in bright red rashes. I had never experienced such intense itching before - I truly thought I was going to die. After that experience (I should have learned my lesson), even into my 20s, my extremely dry skin didn't improve. I became a nomad, trying various body emulsions and creams (back then, I was clueless about chemical ingredients and only used famous brands that were supposedly 'good'). People kept saying body oils worked well, so I forgot about my past experience with Johnson's. I thought there must have been some other reason it didn't suit me before, so I bought it again and applied it after showering just like before. Sure enough, my whole body broke out in rashes again. I felt like I would pass away if I didn't scratch every inch of my body. I had to rush back to the shower and scrub vigorously with soap to remove all the oil. After that, I researched mineral oils and finally understood... Johnson's taught me how dangerous ignorance can be... I'm 'grateful' (?) for that lesson...;;;;;;;
TipI don't have any recommendations, and I'm still a nomad when it comes to body emulsions. I cautiously tried some oils like Now Foods Jojoba Oil from iHerb, and surprisingly, it didn't cause any issues. This made me even more shocked about Johnson's ingredients. I'm thinking of trying Cetaphil's body emulsion next.

It's quite fragrant when you rub it between your hands and apply it while your skin is still damp after showering.
ConsOn the first day of use, I didn't experience any blemishes or adverse reactions, so I thought mineral oil suited my skin well. However, as luck would have it, from the very next day, red hives appeared all over my legs, especially on the back of my thighs. I occasionally get hives in the summer, but it's usually not due to cosmetics and subsides quickly without any particular reason. So, I thought it couldn't be because of the oil. I continued using the oil for about two days, but at night, the itching was unbearable. That's when I realized I needed to stash this oil away in a corner. After just one day of not using it and applying a generous amount of Desowen, a mild prescription ointment from my dermatologist, the hives disappeared as if they were never there. I only used it for two or three days, and now I don't even know where it is. I haven't thrown it away, but I wonder if there's any way to dispose of it properly.
TipIf mineral oil doesn't agree with your skin, you obviously shouldn't buy this. If you're unsure whether mineral oil works for you, I recommend skipping this and purchasing a different oil instead. I'm a case of someone who thought, 'My skin is tough, mineral oil should be fine,' and ended up suffering for it. To be fair, I didn't suffer much since it cleared up in a day, but the itching was maddening. Oh, and if you do decide to buy it, purchasing online is nearly half the price of buying in-store. Also, it's best to apply it right after showering without drying off completely.

It's a well-known brand and I got it on sale, so the price was good.
ConsI developed a red rash-like reaction on my entire legs, inner arms, and stomach area. Wondering if it was due to the oil, I tested it on just one leg... ended up throwing away the rest. Since I've used other products with mineral oil before, I suspect it might be due to the fragrance.

ConsAfter using this, I developed dark spots on my body's skin. At first, the rash and itching were no joke. Now my skin looks like it's been sprinkled with dark freckles. I've got localized hives and scabs. I've never had an allergic reaction on my skin before... I used to have slightly dry but otherwise fine skin. Now I can't even wear a swimsuit. Please, please do a patch test on a small area before using this product.

ConsAfter using it, I experienced a massive outbreak of hives and intense itching. I even had to buy antihistamines to cope with the allergic reaction.
