When using Aubrey shampoo, your hair becomes quite stiff, but applying the conditioner makes it manageable enough to comb through. Among Aubrey conditioners, this one leaves your hair the least itchy and the most soft. However, there's no avoiding some stiffness. You end up using quite a lot of product. - fl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 27, 2016
The ingredients are excellent, and when left on for a while before rinsing, it makes your hair feel silky smooth. While Aubrey shampoos don't lather much, this conditioner doesn't have that drawback. I'm using it happily. The scent, though a matter of personal preference, is quite pleasant to me. There's a slightly heavy feel when using it. I've been purchasing it from iHerb and enjoying it, so it's disappointing to hear they won't be selling it anymore. Try using it like a hair mask once a week, leaving it on for about 20 minutes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 19, 2016
I've been using this conditioner for a while now. The scent is unique, but personally, I find it quite pleasant. While it doesn't make my hair super bouncy, it definitely leaves it softer and more manageable compared to using shampoo alone. There's nothing particularly negative to point out. It doesn't produce dramatic results, but then again, there's nothing specifically bad about it either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 28, 2016
For an organic product, its performance is quite good. I like how it slightly softens the hair! At least it doesn't tangle, which is a relief. It has a scent and the texture isn't too runny, with a slight yellow tint. After drying, you can feel that you've used a treatment. After using about a third of the bottle, you'll notice the comb gliding through more easily, though it doesn't dramatically improve after just a few uses. If you apply a bit more, wear a hair cap for 30 minutes before washing and drying, it makes the hair incredibly soft in a short time - but this effect only happens after doing it a few times. When using it like a regular treatment, it's better to apply directly to the hair and spread it rather than using your hands - this wastes less product and covers a larger area with the same amount. In conclusion, you need to use it for a while before seeing visible changes. It feels sticky when rinsing... It's fine after drying, but in the water, it doesn't feel particularly smooth and is a bit thick, making it difficult to apply thoroughly to the hair. As a result, I'm using it wastefully. Also, since it's not a pump bottle, it's hard to squeeze out the contents once you've used more than half. Personally, I don't like the scent... It's a common cosmetic smell, but exactly the type I dislike. I prefer herbal or citrus scents, so this musky, slightly sweet cosmetic smell wasn't appealing. It's the kind of scent you might expect from an older person's cosmetics... I thought it was unscented, so that was disappointing. Of course, it's personal preference, but if we're talking about scents, I preferred the Rosemary & Peppermint one. The scent lingers even after drying... it lasts until the next wash, which I didn't like. Also, it mentions protein something, but I couldn't really tell the difference. It just softens the hair slightly and makes it look less dry? There's still a bit of a stiff feeling after drying. It doesn't suddenly make your hair amazing. When combing with a brush, it settles nicely, but if you roughly comb with your hands, it tangles and hurts... I wouldn't recommend it if you're expecting silky, flowing hair. - 90*****Normal SkinAtopic SkinJan 14, 2016
I have fine hair that tends to get frizzy, and after coloring, my hair texture changes. When using regular conditioner, I'd lose clumps of hair, so I was worried about ingredients and bought this. My 7-year-old daughter has thick, frizzy curly hair, and using natural shampoos left it stiff and hard to brush. After using this and drying, her hair became so soft! When I tried it myself, I loved the scent, and it calmed my frizzy hair texture. I'm impressed! The container is a bit inconvenient. Other than that, I have no complaints so far. Well... nothing else to add! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 11, 2016
Out of all the treatments and conditioners I've used, Aubrey's is the most effective. What's unique about this one is that its true value shows when your hair dries - it leaves your locks incredibly moisturized and unbelievably soft. The bottle was inconvenient to use, requiring too much force, so I transferred it to a pump container. Also, as I continued using it, I noticed a strong alcohol smell, which led me to switch to a different product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinAug 2, 2015
I was searching for an organic shampoo and decided to buy this after reading a recommendation on a blog. I was a bit worried since these types of shampoos often don't lather well and can leave hair feeling stiff, but my concerns were unfounded. I used just the shampoo for my child and the conditioner for myself, and it leaves hair feeling soft. It seems like there's no added fragrance, but there's a pleasant herbal scent after washing. I haven't used it many times yet, so I'm not sure. I wonder if it will help reduce scalp odor quickly? The best part is that it's free from harmful ingredients!
