The shade matched my bare skin tone almost perfectly, and the texture is quite unique. It envelops the skin with a moisturizing and soft feel without being oily or heavy. It's more like a lightweight cream foundation than a liquid. Summary: This foundation makes your skin look its best. It gives a similar finish to Guerlain Parure Gold, but with better longevity and adherence at a lower price point. The formula is superior and innovative, making the skin feel incredibly comfortable. It's on the hydrating side but not a glowy finish, adheres well to the skin, and doesn't transfer much. • Non-drying formula with an incredibly smooth application • Wraps the skin like a gentle primer • Excellent coverage for texture, pores, and fine lines • Compared to similar formulas like MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing, IOPE Perfect Cover, and Hera Black Cushion, it feels less heavy on the skin • Wide range of shades, with the most diverse and well-matched options among Sephora Korea brands • Affordable at 25,000 won • Though not a glowy finish, it gives the skin a balanced radiance and hydrated look, creating an even, firm, and smooth complexion. Surprisingly, it transfers less than other foundations • Unlike matte/semi-matte foundations that can emphasize smile lines over time, or glowy ones that can settle into them, this foundation doesn't accentuate dryness or wrinkles in dry areas like around the eyes or smile lines, even in winter winds • This shade has a yellow undertone, good for covering redness. Medium coverage that can be built up without looking thick • Maintains its initial appearance over time without extra oil production, settling into pores or lines, or breaking down • As someone with sensitive, thin skin, this foundation feels protective and comfortable. It doesn't irritate even on areas prone to dermatitis • Despite its high-density, non-flowing texture, it doesn't cake, clump, or lift. It adheres evenly whether applied with a brush, fingers, or sponge
Cons• The color longevity could be better. The only downside is that because it applies smoothly and doesn't set like a matte foundation, the makeup longevity is slightly lower. Over time, the color fades a bit, making it look like you're wearing less makeup. I use concealer in the center of my face, so it didn't completely disappear, but those who only use this foundation might find the longevity a bit lacking. My skin is thin and prone to flushing, especially in winter due to heater air and thick clothing. In situations where my face heats up, this foundation (which I chose with more yellow tones) performs better than The Face Shop Ink Lasting and Hera Black Cushion, but my natural flush still shows through. You might need touch-ups when going out. The formula's nature makes it difficult to fully cover redness with concealer before applying foundation. In mid-winter, setting with loose powder might be necessary. It seems ideal for spring and fall when you can fully appreciate its benefits! Even if you need to use loose powder, this product will likely make your skin look more beautiful as it lacks the drawbacks of both glowy and matte foundations.
TipI apply this product all over my face and then use a lighter concealer (around shade 21) in the center for contouring. Recommended for: • Dry, combination, sensitive, or thin-skinned individuals • Some reviews from the US suggest it works well for oily skin too, so those with combination-dehydrated skin might want to test it • Highly recommended for those with thin skin Those with thin skin often find that foundation's white cast or coverage particles are visible, making even slightly thick or high-coverage foundations look artificial. This product allows you to build coverage where needed while maintaining a natural finish • Those who disliked the thickness and transfer of NARS foundations • Those who like Hera Black Cushion in shade 25 and are looking for something similar • Fans of natural BB creams • Those with a medium skin tone around shade 24 • Those with neutral undertones in shades 24/25 (not 24Y) • Those who found NARS or Estée Lauder's darker shades too yellow or orange • Those looking for darker shades similar to Guerlain Parure Gold Not recommended for: • Those who prefer the fully absorbed, adhering feel of matte foundations and their long-lasting power without powder • Those who use multiple base products (primer, concealer, foundation) for a perfect, long-lasting makeup look • Those whose face gets very hot easily (stick to Double Wear-style foundations) • Summer use Shade matching tip: Besides asking for help in-store, if you use department store foundations, you can use the 'shade match' feature on the Sephora USA website. It's usually very accurate, except for some exceptionally light products. I switched from Too Faced Born This Way in Porcelain - this foundation is slightly more yellow and a tiny bit darker.
