The color payoff is fantastic - just a light touch gives you a vibrant hue It's so incompatible with my look that I'm wondering why I even bought it in the first place - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 20, 2023
It's truly stunning when applied under the eyes... I had thrown away my old one, but the memory of it kept haunting me, so I finally tracked down another on a secondhand app. It's honestly the best. The only disappointing thing is that it's been discontinued... If I had to keep just one eyeshadow for under-eye application, this would be it. - ye*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2023
The color is truly beautiful, and the eyeshadow texture feels solid. The pigmentation is excellent. Etude's signature embossing is also lovely. It's a burgundy shade with a strong purple undertone. If I had to nitpick, it's that being a single eyeshadow makes it a bit inconvenient to carry around. I often use it as an accent color in the under-eye triangle area. - jw******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2023
It's the perfect wine burgundy shade. Great for adding a pop of color as an accent. Applying it all over the eyelid can make your eyes look a bit puffy. It's prettier when used sparingly as an accent. - th*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 21, 2023
The color payoff is so intense that you only need to apply a small amount, making it last a long time. Since it's not really a daily wear shade, I don't find myself using it very often. - rl**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 25, 2021
The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's not as intimidating as it might appear, but rather allows for a cute and charming makeup look. There's no real downside, but... if you don't use it sparingly as an accent, it can become a bit overwhelming. It looks really beautiful when you lightly apply it along your lower lashes and fill in the inner corner of your eyes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2021
The color is vibrant and suits cool-toned skin beautifully. It's perfect as an accent color. It's more of a purple-tinged burgundy than a true burgundy. Applying too much can make you look older. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2021
The striking red color is truly impressive. It glides on smoothly, even for first-time users. Due to its intense pigmentation, beginners in eyeshadow application might find it makes their eyes appear puffy if not applied carefully. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2021
Here's my review of the Etude Look At My Eyes Cafe Alver eyeshadow! Current eye situation: Double eyelids, long lashes Color♥️ It's a reddish jujube shade! Pairs perfectly with matte and deep eyeshadows. Application♥️ The shadow applies smoothly! However, there's a bit of shimmer fallout. ♥️Recommendation I'd especially recommend this to those with warm undertones~ Oddly enough, I think I'm warm-toned, but it didn't suit me... There's a slight creasing issue along the eyelid crease, so you might need to touch up a bit in the afternoon!! +The packaging is flimsy.... The lid somehow disappeared at some point.. Using an eye primer might be a good solution! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2021
The color payoff is great and the shades are beautiful. I often use it for accent makeup on the inner corners of my eyes. While Etude House eyeshadows tend to have a lot of fallout, this one isn't as bad.
