I previously tried a sample of the Bioeffect serum and loved its hydrating effect, which made me curious to explore the brand further. I was disappointed they didn't have a cream at the time, but now I've had the chance to try their new product as a sample. The website describes it as a lightweight moisturizer for combination skin. However, even with my extremely dry skin, I found it provided sufficient hydration, especially when used with the serum sample it came with. It has that unique texture and feel I noticed with the serum - light and not too oily, yet deeply moisturizing. The hydration lasts well into the morning, and I love how it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I ended up purchasing the full-size product. In the past, when I was constantly trying new skincare products, my skin became quite sensitive. I thought it was better to stick to gentle products and visit a dermatologist. But now, with late nights at work and frequent drinking, I'm getting blemishes like a teenager. I don't have time for dermatologist visits, and I'm hesitant about taking medication. Since I've found a skincare product that works well for me, I'm committed to a diligent home care routine. However, after using the sample for about 1-2 weeks, I didn't particularly notice any functional benefits. I think it might have helped strengthen my skin barrier and calm blemishes somewhat. - on******Normal SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2021
As a day cream, it's quite nice for dehydrated skin in winter. It doesn't cause any deep dryness and is a decent product overall. A few ingredients are a bit disappointing. The cream isn't exceptional, just average compared to other moisturizers. - hy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinNov 12, 2018
I used this alongside my serum. It applies smoothly on the skin and absorbs well. The overall experience is quite satisfactory. It's neither particularly good nor bad. I'm not sure where I'd buy it again though. - na*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2017
After giving birth, my skin became super sensitive. I tried various products, but they only caused blemishes and made my face tingle. However, the Bioeffect product didn't cause any irritation, so despite being pricey, I've stuck with it. I have dry skin, so I'm using the rich type for the third time now. I bought it along with the day serum. I've found that mixing different products doesn't seem to work well for me. In conclusion, while there's no dramatic effect, I'm satisfied that it doesn't cause any blemishes. The rich type is oily but lacks hydration, so it can feel dry. I recommend using it with a serum. The main issue is that it's expensive! At night, I apply the EGF serum, and if my skin feels dry after a while, I lightly apply the day cream. During the day, I use the day serum followed by the day cream. - yo*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2016
Great for sensitive skin? Absolutely! Think of it as a hydrating moisturizer. Inevitable dryness over time is unavoidable. Fortunately, no blemishes. Use it with a serum if you can. If budget allows, pair with a serum; otherwise, use as a day cream to minimize effects later.
