Here's my review of the Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Essence. First off, the packaging is a regular bottle with a summery ocean-blue color that really captures the season's vibe. With the heat already kicking in, I was eager to give this a try. Initially, I was a bit concerned about potential irritation due to the 'sparkling' in its name, but I've been pleasantly surprised. It's been so good that I've been using it consistently and seeing some lovely improvements in my skin. The application process is simple - after cleansing and toning, you apply this essence. I love that it has a lighter texture compared to most moisturizers. Apparently, it contains carbonated spring water from Jeju Island. As someone who enjoys drinking sparkling water, it's great to now be applying it to my skin too! Interestingly, when you pump it out, it comes out like a mousse. As you pat it into your skin, it absorbs well, leaving a wonderfully hydrated feeling. The only downside is that the bottle cap can be a bit tricky to open and close. I sometimes fumble with it, and even though it's plastic, I occasionally worry about accidentally breaking it. I'd recommend this to anyone who finds moisturizers too heavy in the sweltering summer heat, or those looking for something even lighter than a typical essence. - ie*******Combination SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2019
It was great for winter hydration. When applied, it wasn't sticky at all, and since it came out as a foam, it spread smoothly. I even gifted it to someone else when I was using it a lot! The only thing I liked was the fragrance. I think the scent was the best part. To be honest, the first thing I thought while using this was 'Why did they make it like this?' It's difficult to use and feels more like I need to wash my face rather than applying an essence. I really disliked how it didn't feel like a proper essence. Also, it was quite sticky...

The hydrating effect lasts for a long time after application, so I think it's pretty good for moisturizing the skin. Personally, I find this formula ideal to use starting from autumn. The stickiness is a real issue. It's probably the stickiest among essence-type products. After application, it feels like the areas around your eyes and mouth are sticking together. Using less product helps a bit, but since it's a mousse type, it's not easy to control the amount. Also, being in a can, you can't see how much product is left (though shaking it gives you a rough idea). Depending on your skin type and preferences, adjusting the amount used could lead to a more satisfying experience. It absorbs well into the skin. I tried this after finishing my intense moisturizer. After using it, my face produced an excessive amount of sebum. It's great for winter, early spring (March), and fall (after mid-October). During these seasons, it doesn't cause any blemishes on my face. Outside of the seasons I mentioned as good, if I apply it, my face gets oily and it feels uncomfortably heavy. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2018
The foam texture makes it easy and convenient to apply. When using a small amount, it feels like you haven't applied anything, so I ended up using more product than intended.

I've been using it mainly in winter for 3 years, buying a little at a time, and have gone through 3 tubes. You don't need to apply a lot - even a small amount covers the whole face! I've tried the extra moisturizing version too, but this one is really perfect for winter.. Well, the fact that you can't see how much is left? I learned the technique (haha) of getting the right amount out after using it for a while. And I wish they would increase the volume a bit...hehe This would be great to use in fall and winter! It seems pretty decent. The moisturizing effect lasted quite a while after application, and when I applied it before bed, my makeup went on smoothly in the morning. At first, it's tricky to control the amount. When you press the pump, too much comes out, so I ended up applying it all over my neck and elsewhere. (However, you do get used to it after using it for a while.)
