It absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky! It sinks in quickly and has a lovely scent too! I was about to give it a high rating since I've been using it without knowing the ingredients. But after checking the ingredients on the Hwahae app, I was shocked and had to lower my rating... Oh well! In winter, it's not quite enough on its own, so I mix it with oil before applying. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 18, 2020
I bought this at a supermarket while in Nepal, and it was incredibly cheap. I purchased this during a business trip, but when I applied it to my baby, their entire body broke out in patchy red allergic reactions that took quite a while to disappear. I only used it a few times before stopping, and now I realize it contains many harmful ingredients. Avoid this if your child has sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2019
I bought this while on a business trip to India, both for a colleague who asked me to get it and for my daughter. I can't compare the price since I've never purchased it in Korea. After using it, I found it absorbs well and isn't sticky, which is great. First off, it has a strong scent. I thought it was good and started using it, but while searching online, I found some information suggesting the ingredients aren't that great, which was a bit disappointing... I'm wondering if I should continue using it. Also, it's quite runny, so I'm considering mixing it with other emulsions. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 30, 2018
It absorbs really well into the skin! The absorption rate was excellent too. It has a slightly strong scent, which might be a bit harsh for children to use. - lo************Combination SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2018
It absorbs beautifully, feels soft on the skin, and has a lovely fragrance! After application, your skin feels delightfully hydrated. The consistency is quite thin. You need to be careful with the amount you squeeze out, or it might just run off. But what's truly disappointing is learning about the concerning ingredients through Hwahae. It's really upsetting, especially since I've been applying it liberally on my baby. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 16, 2017
I received this as a gift and enjoyed using it so much that I was planning to repurchase. While searching to buy it again, I found out it contains some questionable ingredients. This led me to sign up for the Hwahae app. Now I'm unsure if the amount of these ingredients is safe enough to continue using or not. - eu***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 18, 2017
When I searched on Hwahae, I noticed that in India, they tend to use stronger preservatives, probably due to the constant heat. It's funny how in Korea, there'd be an uproar if parabens were included. Aside from that, the ingredients at the beginning of the list looked relatively good, so I decided to consider preservatives a necessary evil. Interestingly, even baby products here use fragrances and parabens. We can't make everything by hand, and luckily, I have resilient skin! I usually use large bottles of Cetaphil or Aveeno emulsion as body lotion for my elementary school kids and myself. After finishing those, I bought this Himalaya Baby product here in India. The recent local version is paraben-free and comes in a pump bottle now. I tried it and found it's quite runny, which makes it easy to apply. Overall, I'm satisfied with it. Personally, I prefer the texture of Aveeno emulsion for easy application, and this one is quite thin. However, the fact that it's not a thick cream isn't necessarily a drawback. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 9, 2017
The hydration and absorption are excellent. The scent is also quite pleasant. After purchasing, I searched on Hwahae and discovered it contains many harmful ingredients. My daughter developed small blemishes, but I didn't. It seems to be hit or miss. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 6, 2017
It absorbs well and the scent is fairly mild, not irritating. Now that I know the ingredients, I can't bring myself to use it. I'm quite upset that I applied it to my baby from birth to 19 months without knowing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinFeb 3, 2017
It's decent for summer. Not too heavy, and seems fine for a light application. However, I was surprised when I looked at the ingredient list. My skin feels extremely dry and itchy even after applying this. Mixing it with oil doesn't help either.
