It applies smoothly without clumping and naturally lengthens my lashes, which I love. I used to find removing mascara a hassle during my cleansing routine, but this one comes off easily, which is really satisfying. No matter how well I use my eyelash curler or even heat it up, the curl drops quickly, and there's a lot of excess product fallout. While it's easy to remove during cleansing, I probably won't repurchase it. - pp*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 10, 2021
My eyelashes are naturally thick and full, which often makes them droop. However, this mascara applies thinly and lightly, preventing any drooping - which I love. True to its 'Long and Curl' name, it naturally elongates my lashes. Usually, mascaras tend to smudge under my eyes over time, but this one doesn't smudge much at all. It applies smoothly without clumping, so I'm very satisfied. When using it, clumps of mascara tend to come out on the tip of the brush. - wh********Oily SkinAcne SkinJun 15, 2020
Pros: 1. It applies incredibly lightly. It's so feather-light on your lashes, you'll hardly feel it's there. 2. It doesn't smudge into a dark mess. Instead, any excess flakes off easily, so you can simply brush it away. Cons: 1. Don't expect dramatic results. It's more of a subtle, natural look. 2. There's quite a bit of fallout. The flakes can get into your eyes, which is annoying. 3. It's a Japanese product.... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 7, 2020
I loved how it lengthened my lashes just right without clumping! Somehow my lashes droop quickly... No matter how much I curl them, they won't stay up. - lu********Oily SkinDec 26, 2019
It doesn't smudge. The staying power is pretty good for what it is. It's not very noticeable when applied. Even with an eyelash curler, it doesn't hold the curl well, and I'm not sure if it lengthens much. I didn't expect much in terms of volume since it's not that type of product, but it's just barely noticeable if you're paying attention. - ln******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2019
I used to use the purple Heroine Make Long mascara. The purple one has more fibers, making lashes fuller and longer. I tried this product because the packaging is prettier. It has just the right amount of fibers and still lengthens well. Personally, I prefer the moderate amount of fibers in this one. My natural lashes are already quite long, so I'm not too concerned about length, and too many fibers can make my eyes feel heavy. That's why I like this product better, but I'd recommend the purple one for when you want a more dramatic look. There was hardly any smudging. With dewy makeup, it might transfer a bit, but that could be due to eyeliner and eyeshadow rather than the mascara itself. The fact that I need to use the purple Heroine Make for more intense makeup days. Also, it's not exactly cheap. I bought it on sale at Olive Young. It's great for everyday use because of the moderate amount of fibers. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2019
The biggest advantage is how easy it is to cleanse! Waterproof makeup can be stubborn or a hassle to remove It seems to flake a bit sometimes.. Maybe it's fine as long as I don't apply too many layers - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2019
First off, I loved how it made my lashes curl up beautifully. What I appreciated most was the inclusion of synthetic fibers, which created a natural-looking lash extension effect. The mascara seemed to hold up well for about 4 hours, maintaining its look unless exposed to rain or sweat. There's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, the synthetic fibers tend to disappear faster than expected. Eventually, it performs more like a regular mascara, though it still seems to lift the lashes better than other brands. It's not exactly a tip, but because of the synthetic fibers, I recommend curling your lashes with an eyelash curler before applying the mascara. I found that curling after application tends to pull out the fibers, which isn't ideal. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 12, 2019
I've tried the EX version too, but I'm planning to repurchase this one. After using this first, the EX felt a bit stiff, heavy, and caused some eye irritation. It was also a bit dry and had some excess fallout. In comparison, this one is soft, moisturizing, and lightweight. It lengthens each lash individually without any clumping. While the staying power might be slightly less, it's not inferior to other mascaras. It's also much easier to remove. Honestly, there are no drawbacks. If this gets discontinued... I'd lose one of life's little pleasures! If I really had to nitpick, the fiber-rich formula can make the opening a bit messy, and the long fibers can sometimes create black lines if you're not careful when applying. Other than that, it's a holy grail product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 17, 2019
1. It doesn't smudge at all... but that's to be expected from a film-type mascara. 2. No matter how many coats you apply, it doesn't clump and looks clean. Everything except the packaging... Sigh. I've used other Kiss Me mascaras without thinking much about how hard they are to remove, but this one can't be completely taken off even with cleansing oil. It only slightly lengthens and darkens lashes, with zero curling or volume effects, making dramatic looks impossible. It might be okay for those who prefer a very natural makeup look...
