1. I bought a two-tone lipstick from a home shopping channel and accidentally discovered my holy grail shade. When that product disappeared after a year, I searched for something similar and found this one. As a winter cool tone, pink and red lipsticks suit me well. While it looks burgundy on the outside, it applies as a deep pink and burgundy-like red, which I absolutely love. 2. Just swipe it on and press your lips together for a natural gradient effect. Even during busy exam periods when I can't do a full face of makeup, I always make sure to apply this. 3. The absorbs well is also great. 1. It tends to transfer easily onto cups when drinking water, so it wears off quickly. Even if I don't do anything, after 4 hours only my natural lip color remains. 2. The darker shade tends to apply less evenly, so that part stays on longer. I ended up breaking off that part using a cleansing wipe. However, when there wasn't much product left, the whole thing unexpectedly snapped off, which was a bit surprising. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 17, 2016
It's decent enough for everyday use. I was worried about dead skin cells showing, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. However, it's not exceptionally hydrating or anything like that. The two-tone design creates a sharp divide, so you need to blend it separately for a gradient effect. Surprisingly, it's hard to get intense color payoff. It doesn't adhere well to the lips, so you might need to apply it twice. I'm wondering if it's worth the hassle... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinOct 10, 2016
The application was incredibly smooth, and I loved the design. It emphasized dead skin cells... and I made the wrong choice. The color didn't suit me at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 9, 2016
It brightens up your face and gives it a lively look. It suits pale complexions well. The gradient color payoff is absolutely gorgeous. I lost it once, but I loved the color so much that I bought it again when it was on sale. The price is a bit disappointing, so I always wait for a discount to buy it. Also, the button for twisting up the lipstick is a bit inconvenient to use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 9, 2016
I'm so pleased with the color match! I wanted a red lip and this is perfect. Highly recommend! It was a bit inconvenient to remove. It smudges and leaves fingerprints... Apart from that, it was good. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSep 28, 2016
This is my holy grail lip bar! It's the Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar in 01 Magenta Muse, and the color is absolutely stunning. It's a slightly saturated hot pink shade, but not too intense. While hot pink shades typically suit cool-toned individuals, it looked amazing on me even though I have warm undertones! Seriously, everyone, just buy it. You need this in your life! This lip bar has a button-like mechanism on the side that you need to push to dispense the lipstick. However, that button is incredibly sensitive... You really have to be careful and push it ever so gently. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2016
The color is absolutely gorgeous, and the gradient looks so natural! Even with just one application, it gives that layered effect. It comes off too easily... If only the staying power was better, I'd definitely repurchase. But because of the poor longevity, I'm hesitating... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 8, 2016
The color payoff was better than I expected, probably due to its deep shade. Although it's a two-tone design with a clear boundary, it blends into a beautiful, natural gradient when you gently rub it with your fingers after application. At first, I wasn't sure about the unique case, but as I used it more, I found it quite convenient. I also loved how it feels both matte and moisturizing at the same time. The staying power is lacking. It also feels like it sits on top of the lips a bit. When I tested it on the back of my hand, it seemed to have a slight tint effect, but it didn't translate well onto the lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 11, 2016
It's nice that it comes in two shades, but application can be a bit tricky. It's best to apply it with your fingers or a lip brush for smooth coverage. The colors are pretty, but it might be a bit much to apply all over your lips. Make sure to test it before buying. I think it's a better deal to get the smaller size in a lighter shade. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 23, 2016
I was worried about having to blend the border since it has two distinct tones, but it applies so naturally without being too matte. As time passes, it creates an even more natural gradient, which I ended up loving more than expected. Since I prefer matte lips, the staying power isn't as good as matte formulas, given how smoothly it applies. Still, the longevity isn't bad. I want to collect all the colors. Don't rub your lips too much after applying, or you'll mix the colors instead of creating a natural gradient. Gently blend for that perfect ombre effect!
