Recommended by my dermatologist for blemish-prone skin, it's essentially a non-greasy lotion. It's too drying and I'm not sure if it's actually improving my blemishes. The quantity is so small that it runs out quickly, especially since I have to apply it generously due to how dry it makes my skin feel. I usually go for more hydrating moisturizers as I have combination dehydrated skin, but when I apply this in the morning before makeup, it causes pilling. It doesn't feel very moisturizing when applied and my skin feels dry again quickly. I wouldn't recommend this product for those with dry skin. I bought this while searching for an oil-free moisturizer. For the first week, it seemed fine with decent hydration, but I gradually noticed my skin getting drier. It's best to use this with a serum for sure~ I'm using it well as it's a cream that doesn't cause any blemishes! I only recently discovered the Hwahae app... so I've just learned about these ingredients now, haha. (But hey, this level is okay.. 1. Gentle feel It feels quite gentle when applied. However, there are about two potentially problematic ingredients in the formulation. 1. Dryness It might be too drying for those with dry skin. Probably more suitable for spring and summer use. 2. Application It takes a bit of time to absorb after application. You need to make sure it's well absorbed. Otherwise, it might cause pilling with makeup. 3. Slight itchiness Strangely, Ceraderma products tend to make my skin slightly itchy and dry. The texture was really nice! I also appreciated that it didn't have a strong scent. Even though I have super sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. While the ingredients list might not be the most impressive... At first, it felt hydrating, which was great, but after it absorbed, my face felt tight. It left a somewhat dry feeling? Those with dry skin might want to think twice about this one. I have combination dehydrated skin with dry cheeks, and this alone doesn't provide enough moisture. It just feels gentle, and that's about it... I have combination dehydrated skin, and when I applied only this, my face felt tight right away. It was extremely drying for me, leaving my skin feeling parched.

For blemishes caused by dryness, this has been the best solution for me. The absorption isn't particularly great, so when using it in the morning, you need to pat it in thoroughly. My daughter uses this cream (she has combination skin). When she applies a generous amount on her face before bed, she wakes up with incredibly soft skin. We've also noticed a significant improvement in her complexion. When she keeps it in the fridge and applies it before sleeping, her skin looks so bright and clear in the morning - it's hard to describe just how radiant it becomes! After checking the ingredients on Hwahae, it seems the formulation might not be as beneficial as we thought. I recommend storing this in the refrigerator. It seems to work much better when chilled. My daughter uses it alongside Nature Republic Green Derma Foam Cleanser and Ceradem Tea Tree Toner. Initially, she kept her toner and moisturizer at room temperature and used a different cleanser. But after switching to this foam cleanser and refrigerating both the toner and moisturizer, her skin transformed dramatically. I noticed a significant improvement in her blemishes within a week of this new routine. Now her skin is almost completely clear, with just one tiny blemish on her forehead. Before, she regularly had several inflamed blemishes and numerous small bumps on her forehead and chin. My daughter highly recommends this combination!
