The price is cheap... and that's about it... Not impressed. It only stains the inside of my lips, doesn't come off easily, and it's truly a waste of money. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 18, 2017
The color is absolutely gorgeous! It seems to stain well, and the application is smooth and easy. It only stains the inner part of the lips... and it comes off a bit too easily with water. Since it mainly stains the inner lips, it tends to fade when eating, drinking, or brushing teeth. Especially after brushing, it's almost completely gone, haha! You can prevent it from only staining the inner part by applying a thicker layer! - c_*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 10, 2017
It has great staying power, so it's perfect for when you're going out and don't want to look bare-faced. It's convenient to apply. I had a terrible experience with this. After using it, I developed a severe case of cheilitis. I had just recovered from a previous bout caused by an Aritaum oil tint, which required a doctor's visit. Using this product brought back all that suffering... It was absolutely awful. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 7, 2016
The staying power is great and the color payoff is excellent. I'm really enjoying using it. I bought it during a 3-for-1 deal, and I'm so glad I did! It can be a bit challenging to keep your mouth open saying 'ah' for 10 minutes. While the instructions say to remove it after 10 minutes, I find it absorbs better and lasts longer if you leave it on for about 30 minutes instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2016
The staying power seems to last about 3-4 hours, which is pretty impressive. Other lip tint products often disappoint with their short-lived color, but Secret Key's lip tattoo holds up quite well. The pigmentation is excellent, and I'm fairly satisfied with how it performs overall. I'm not sure if it's because I have a lot of dead skin cells on my lips, but when I peel it off, it seems to emphasize flaky skin and leaves a slightly matte finish. - wk******Oily SkinSep 22, 2016
The color is intense but not overwhelming once removed. I won it in an event, so I got it for free - total score! They say it's great for water activities, so I tried it with high hopes. Hmm... Following the instructions, I tried to remove it after the specified time, but it hadn't dried and wouldn't come off. So I waited another 20 minutes, but then it was so stuck that I almost tore my lips... Ouch! Even after exfoliating, it still hurt. While it's on, you can't really talk or eat. I felt anxious about the tint getting inside my mouth. You need to apply it carefully along your lip line. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 18, 2016
I received this as a birthday gift in May and use it occasionally. I like that the color is surprisingly intense (it's actually darker in person than in the photos). Unfortunately, the drawbacks outweigh the benefits. While removing it from the upper lip is fine, taking it off the lower lip can be painful, even if your lips are in good condition. It often peels off the skin (?) and sometimes doesn't come off completely, leaving patches behind. The staying power isn't great either. Despite using it several times, it's still difficult to apply precisely, and the sticky texture makes it even more challenging. It also seems to come off too easily with water or saliva. If you touch your lips with wet hands or a towel, it smears and wipes off. I'm using it because it was a gift, but I wouldn't buy it again with my own money. (It looks pretty in photos, but in reality, there are patchy red areas that won't come off and white spots where the skin (?) has peeled off.) If you apply lip balm, it looks moisturized and glossy. When you want to remove it, you can easily do so with a small amount of foam cleanser or soap. - qw********Normal SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessSep 11, 2016
- The color stains beautifully. - The shade is lovely. - It wasn't painful to remove. - It was a bit tricky to apply precisely along the lip line. - It transferred onto food utensils, straws, and dishes. - I expected it to last longer since it's called a tattoo, but more than half of it wore off after eating. - When it's difficult to apply along the lip line, using a lip brush makes application more convenient and precise. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2016
The color absorbs naturally into the skin and doesn't transfer onto anything else! The scent is a bit sour... and it's a hassle to wait for the tint to set. If you apply it and fan it vigorously, you can achieve the perfect look in just 5 minutes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 1, 2016
When I first applied it, the color was beautiful! It was so vibrant that I didn't need any other lip makeup. While it's drying, you have to keep your mouth open (definitely a solo activity). I can't be the only one who was anxious about drooling, right? It's actually more of a hassle to use on busy mornings. A regular lipstick is much quicker. Don't stick to just 10 minutes - you need to leave it on for longer to dry properly and peel off well (though this might irritate your lips). After eating, it came off in patchy spots. So embarrassing!
